Ok glad I'm getting a replacement ASAP.... when I move the mouse across a pure black screen, zones literally light up. Light giant bands from top to bottom. This screen is borked. there is also a weird glow that follows mouse pointer.

Box looks ok, pretty sure extra pressure was applied when packing.... so far, looks pretty awesome outside of the crack haha

Good to know... I had the AW38 on order but cancelled. I feel like I need a few more reviews first. That or be patient with another UW release.

Would you choose this over the Dell AW38? I was going to snag the Dell, but have reservations now. Primarily for non competitive gaming and some light photo editing.

This options seems a long way away... and how does the Dell 38 left to be desired? Just curious on opinions. I loved my Dell AW34, but wanted bigger.

Well, I just snagged this. I know I may be a bit crazy replacing the LG CX48, but I believe it’s the right choice. Should be here next week.

Thank you! I think I had a total knucklehead moment... I don’t believe the Long Dark supports HDR on PC, but does on consoles. I’ll take a look for a good HDR toggle! So I guess my other question is, is it worth keeping windows 10 HDR on at all?

Asked this early but perhaps not correctly.... Would there be a reason I don’t see the toggle in display options for “Enable HDR for Games and Apps”? I only see the enable HDR. Unless I keep looking in wrong place haha. I ask because I have one game that won’t enable its HDR or conflicts with...

Is it common for Windows 10 to see the LG CX48 as a "Generic PnP Monitor"? I ask because I'm have no issues using HDR is any games, except, The Long Dark. When I have HDR enable in Windows, the game is a washed out mess, however, when I disable, it looks perfect. Wasn't sure if this is...

Great, good to know! I may break it out just to see. And totally agree, screen is perfect with minor adjustments to OLED light, ck trady, brightness etc.

A little while back I bought a X-Rite i1 calibration tool for a previous monitor. Can this also be used for the LG CX48? Wasn’t sure after all the initial non calibration tool tweaks if it was still worth it.

I'm having a minor issue where when I boot PC, tv won't recognize PC HDMI input, says no signal. Most times I have to turn TV off then on again and windows login screen will appear. Am I not giving ti enough time or is there a TV/Windows/Bios setting I need to adjust?

Ah ok I was under the impression you wanted the pixels moving, not static, thanks. I'll see if I can find some good wallpaper. What's considered a reasonable OLED setting? Mine is at 75 right now.

To prevent burn in, I'm using Steam Wallpaper Engine a LOT, hiding task bar, no icons and turning off when I'm not using.... is this good enough from a maintenance perspective? Is turning off a bad thing? Thanks!

Sooooo I took the plunge! Flipping love this TV as a monitor. Quick question though, it went into that auto dimming mode yesterday and had trouble coming out of it.... anything I can do to help with this? I know we can’t remove.
