There were other sources from computex saying it'll launch during the summer.
A prototype can be in various stages of development and that can differ if they have more than one model.
But let's focus on the intel product in this thread.
Ok, thanks.
It's either this or the Gigabyte Brix Gaming UHD (shown at Computex.)
Swedish GB rep. said it'll be available in the end of this month and it's got a i7 quad core (don't know much more than that) and a better gpu than the one shown at computex.(which was 950m i think).
Also the...
Thinking about getting one, but i'm picky about noise especially at idle or web-browsing/youtube watching.. hows the noise at low load and does it suddenly ramp up like the older NUC's did?
I still don't understand what your point was, given that fnordmans system should be equaly "hot" the 600w should be better because the fan start at a higher load than the 450W. Is the "temp fan controller" adjusted for that? or do the 600W kick out less heat? Or have I missed something?
Are they usually the first to have it in stock?
For euros:
Swedish corsair rep told me "in the coming weeks" and the retailer I ordered from said "we should have it in stock in 1-2 weeks"
Swedish retailer Inet.se has them listed and one of the specs. reveal that they (both 600 and 450) run fanless to 20% load. (120 and 90w resp.)
EDIT: pics in spoiler
I guess that's where we disagree..
I don't see the point in using a sfx only matx case (it's such a oxymoron), also that psu would be for sli/cf users only.. because there are other better/cheaper options if you're not doing that...
Which means 1. you need to get people to buy a specific case...
Introducing products nobody need because people don't know better isn't a viable business tactic..
Also people tend to buy to much because "if they in the future want CF/SLI"
As Mazzy said, there's no reason to buy sfx unless you have a mitx. (and mitx = no cf/sli) For that usage 700w is...
A PSU for a htpc and for people who build a PC based system instead of a PS4 or Xbox is a huge market, SFX for the small footprint and quietness for movie watching and living room use...
It's a extremely small market for 700w+ sfx... not gonna be worth the cost to develop..
Mazzys suggestion is a much bigger market, a really quiet 400w-ish sfx would be perfect for a lot of living room gaming/htpc's.. (but it has to be really quiet)
Well, they haven't said anything about dates for their new stuff either...
And as a previous owner of their currently available products (600 and 500 L), i advice you strongly to wait for the new stuff... ;)
The important conclusion is that the apr/may date some people referred to is BS, and if nothing changes, it's a few weeks away.
Might not be the absolute truth, but it's the best guess anyone has..
Jon Gerow (a.k.a. Jonnyguru) is the PSU product manager at corsair, he's the guy you should listen to.
Not the first time customer service is wrong, maybe they thought the "Bulldog" delay (which is delayed to about what you're saying) also applied to the SF600
Not a stupid question, but the fact that you have two people talking about it 7-8 posts above yours, and one of them posting a link to a post that gives you the answer.. can maybe make you look like you haven't really read the things you should..
Why not a regular radiator :)
Text in swedish, but pics should be universal

First of nobody has ordered anything...
How can it be more in line when we said the same thing?
You seem to misunderstand what both me and dondan said..
what the reseller thinks about the case isn't really important, they will _NOT_ "take on" a significant amout of cases!!! (not a single...
Exactly, doesn't say anything if they ship or not.. it's just that they don't have a current cost estimate, maybe they don't ship to Russia that often and therefore don't have a fixed price.
I'm not dondan but I was the one (or of the ones, who guessed it), one of the reasons I did is because they seemed to ship world wide. (which has for me been a problem with german reseller in the past, some only ship to neighbouring countries)
I couldn't find a list of where they did or didn't...
Obviously, but they seemed to have problems understanding what i would consider basic business and I didn't want to make it overly complicated.
I hope they would understand that the reseller and you together make the equivalent of what the crowdfunding would do. And on that bases you will...
That's the other point i forgot to make..
The reseller wont purchase the cases, doesn't matter what they think of the demand.. it's up to dondan...
new example...

It's listed...
Dondan can correct me if I'm wrong..
Again, the reseller is selling the case on dondans behalf (for reasons posted earlier in the thread).
They're not "taking on anything" using them is merely a way to make EU regulations and shipping easier..
Ex. Super Flower is EVGAs OEM on some of their...
Reseller is not "taking out any orders with Lian Li"
It's Lian Li manufacturing the case for dondan and the reseller selling it on dondans behalf.
The only one needing to "gaze demand" is dondan...
My unit has a clearly audible click sound (at idle it was audible in the whole room i have the computer in) , I've sent it to Tony. Arrived yesterday, hopefully it'll help him find out what the issue is and how it can be solved.
Noctua will send you 140mm mounts, if you contact them and ask.
Was free when i did it, not even postage, did however need to show them a "proof of purchase" a copy of the receipt was fine in my case.
Agreed!
The difference in this case was that they were spreading it, by not understanding what was disussed..
And when you've misunderstood something you might wanna check that you've got it and not act like the "almighty guardian of the internet" because that will get you called an...
