The problem is memory to run those high resolution Screen. Yours GTX 660SLI only have 2 GB so running it on 4k wouldnt be optimum at all. GTX 970 sli doesnt do 4k justice either, I a currently running 2xR9 290x and 4k tv but barely play any game at ultra high settings at all. So I am returning...
I would get Samsung Tab 4 due to you already have another Samsung. So it would make use of all your android program and other samsung features. Eventhough FireHD is great tablet but it is bulky compare to Samsung Devices.
IMO I would wait few more month if you can. Jumping on GTX 980 rigth now while R9 3xx is around the corner wouldnt be beneficial if you can live with the 780ti atm. With R9 3xx release it will drive price of GTX 980 down or you can buy R9 3xx for best performance in the market.
I would go wit 1440p. 1440p at its peak atm with dual GTX970 you would be able to run them smoothly. 4k still too new, dual GTX 980SLi or R9 290x still have problem handling higher frame rate. I would save the money and wait for better graphic cards to be release next year.
I would go with Aorus X3. Doesnt look as good as Razer Blade but its design has better air flow compare to the Razor Blade. Buy it on Newegg now and you will get a free AOC 27 in monitor which in a bonus.
Information on the new r9 3xx is still uncertain. But i dont think you will be able to achieve playable frame rate with 1 r9 290x, Maybe sli set up would help solve the issue.
I would recommend Dual GTX 980or DUal R9 290x 8GB version. IF you are not in rush you can wait for AMD upcoming cards or soon to be release 8gb Gtx 980
Haswell has been around for over 2 years now I am expecting to see BroadWell sooner than Q2 2015. I dont think it would be a big jump in performance but rather power usage and DDR4.
I owned a 4770k for a year now. Just bought a new 4790k for a friend. After quick test between both system I dont see much of improvement over my current system beside the fact he got GTX 980 vs my Xfire R9 290x. Rendering 3D Max and otherthings is almost identical in speed. I dont think it is...
Sigh. Nvidia has been releasing a bunch of high end video cards since the R9 290x release 780ti,then gtx 980. I am still rocking my pair of r9 290x till 5k resolution. Regardless R9 380x looks promising
