mITX cases close to mATX cases, server their purpose as being the fun cases, with water. There's cases the size of my filing cabinets, and there's your normal full tower.

Depends on what you compromise. Can those m-atx cases fit what the prodigy can? Are you comparing with handles or without handles dimensions? Putting handles on any case makes the case even bigger too. Can we say the same with "ATX case bigger than some XL ATX case?" Sure.

Lets say the 120mm fans are in the Optical bay area. If I dragged the optical bay right down, level with the motherboard, it won't touch the GPU.

All comes down to how much you want to pay and how much flexibility you want with the case... With all those SSD's, you cross a couple off that list. Fitting those GPU's, all of them are ok. Fitting 1 of the 3 heatsinks - only 1 case fits all of the 3 with the flexibility to fit even bigger...

Where are you located? Don't need to wait a month.. It's much shorter than that..

XL ATX - you can think of it as up and down. (requires more PCI slots) E-ATX - you can think of it as <this way> There's 35cm <this way> on the Shinobi XL.

Actually, there's room for EATX if you really wanted to on the Shinobi XL. I measure 35cm.
