checks out article --> Finds the journalist blatantly biased against Sony just from the pictures and the captions --> clicks [x] after loling.
They even have a donate to the hackers and boycotting Sony pic right there. I mean come on, really? Way to be objective and not sensationalize news...
No, I don't give a crap how playing a game makes me look. I (almost) never judge a game without actually tying it out first.
As long as it is fun or interesting enough to keep my attention, I'll continue playing it. Examples include Pokemon, the Harvest Moon games, those cartoonish Zelda...
It isn't just gunk.
That was one of the four cpu mounting screws for the bracket, so the screw isn't stripped.
It was stuck with the backplate (the only one of the 4), but with some wiggling, I got the plate off, but now the back of the screw isn't completely circular.
Right, as I was doing my 3 month cleaning for dust, I decide to take the chance of installing a new CPU cooler instead of just blowing out dust.
Anyways, one of the mounting screws is stuck in the hole of my Mobo.
No amount of twisting will get it loose at all.
Any ideas?
I've bought a Thermalright SIlver Arrow (it will get to my place sometime next week) and wanted to know if it fits the FT02.
I measured it and it seems like it will, but do any of you have first hand knowledge?
Meh, shows 17 for me but I need a new set of earphones ever since I accidentally crushed my Sony ones with my chair.
Been using crappy apple earbuds ever since.
Bought these. Thanks for heads up.
Turns out the kid was cheating.
It was cleared up on Twitter. It was, and I quote, "this wasn't a he "played too good" situation at all". here
The mom pretty much backhandedly admits that Microsoft was in the right because she is coming up with another excuse about how her account has been...
Went to all the BBs that were within 30 minutes of my home in CA.
All 3 of them were out of the A70. Empty shelf in between the h50's and old GPUs.
: (
If you AREN'T using it for folding or using your CPU for heavily threaded applications then 24 hours is enough. So if you are just using it to game, then 24 hours is more than enough. Hell, I would say just do 20 passes on LinX and run it 8 hours or so and you will be good if gaming is all you...
Hmm... I'm also considering the Archon (despite being a little higher than my budget), but I don't know how much better it is from the other choices.
Not even considering the Silver Arrow or the d14 because those things look huge.
I currently have a CoolerMaster 212+ in Push/Pull. Recently I've been thinking that it isn't cutting it for my OC.
The temps hit 80C+ with an ambient of 20C during IBT. In folding, it is a more comfortable 65~70C (from coolest to hotest core). I'm a bit uncomfortable with it hitting it this...
Hmm, no matter what I do, even after clean install + driver cleaner, I get less in everything.
In folding, I lose 1 second per frame. Went from 1:04 (850 core) to 1:05.
In 3dmark11, I lose an average of 200 points at 900 core (better than the 400 points it was before I used driver cleaner...
Hmm. My 3dmark11 scores and Heaven scores are down a lot. I know that these aren't real world tests, but still...it went down quite a bit. I posted how much on the 3dmark11 thread.
Updated new drivers. I somehow scored lower.
With 850 core, when tested with 260.99 drivers, I score this .
With the new 266.58, I just got lower.
At 900 core:
Old Driver: ~6600
New Driver: ~6200
I concur with everyone else. Get a CM212+, slap on another fan, and be happy.
The CM 212+ is perfect for your need. If the 212+ works at 4.0 Ghz with the older, hotter running i7s, then it will be down right chilly at the same frequency on the 2600K.
Definitely skipping. I'm pretty happy with what I have right now.
While the improvements look really nice, it would be the smart thing if I wait till at least LGA2011.
Even then... I might not upgrade depending how well my 950 holds up.
Nope, I don't really care about the TWIMTBP caption thing.
I just buy the card the I happen to like more when the upgrade itch hits or when my card dies/become no longer useful.
In this case, it is not worth the expensive shipping. So get cheaper shipping.
Even if they get it, they won't process it until after the 4th of January. Their warehouses are closed for the holiday.
If it were me, I wouldn't be so hasty considering the queue is over 300 people for a 570...
It is capped at 62 only during the menus. There were issues during the beta where video cards would go up to 1000+ FPS and burn out some people's cards.
Once in a game, the FPS should go way up to 100+ depending on map size because of your 6950.
I hesitate to say that it is the C2Q that is...
You are using the same Mobo as I am. The turbo boost automatically turns itself off when you change the CPU ratio.
You might want to try an odd number multiplier like 21 or 23, it seems people have more luck getting stable OCs at higher frequencies. Raise that and lower the BLCK and see how...
Well, if you want a 950 to reference.
When mine was set to 3.6 for a short time. The temps topped off around the low to mid 60c (58~62 on Prime95 and 60~65c on IBT), this was a Cooler Master 212+ with stock fan and stock vCore (my sig rig). This was back during fall, a couple months ago...
4-6 a day of dedicated play. From a complete noob at SC. Not using any cheesy methods.
I want realistic figures. I kind of doubt I can manage to hit diamond level of play in a months time...
Edit: I watch day9, and it is pretty good stuff. Might have to start looking into TeamLiquid, looks...
I recently got into this game because of friends but the majority of them are high Diamond level players. As such, their advice is... pretty much "don't be a noob and play more" and "you got to find your own style after watching replays and stuff".
How far up the leagues would I get with 4~6...
P6658 with my GTX 480.http://3dmark.com/3dm11/192240 There wasn't much improvement from 3.8 Ghz on my i7 to 4.0 Ghz. This GPU OC is probably not stable for 24/7 use.
For my 24/7 OC of 860/2200, I score about P6300 (Don't want to retest it right now).
Stock GTX 480 is about P5300.
