I have someone trying to convince me that fan speed and CPU usage are connected.. more specifically that CPU running at 100% usage during a game was caused by fan failure. This does not logically make any sense to me. Fan speed effects temperature, which can effect performance but not raw usage..

Those Antec cases don't have anywhere near as good airflow/cooling as even cheaper Lian Li stuff and they're also steel, not aluminum. Not really comparable cases or made for comparable needs.

Like I said, I'm trying to ghost from one hard drive to another. No new computer. Just new hdd. I can do that with Windows 7 by a) burning up an entire spindle of DVDrws or b) getting an extra hard drive just to house my disk image, neither of which I am keen on.

well, I ended up going with the Corsair again. Two biggest reasons were the $60 price difference and the smaller size. Hopefully I will have better luck this time.

I modded it, so no warranty. I will not be modding the next one. Oh well if my case doesn't look quite as perfect.
