I don't know what the hell you're doing with your phones, but my Samsung Vibrant has zero scratches on the screen. I've used this thing for over two years now without any form of screen protector or case. I've dropped it on concrete numerous times accidentally and the screen looks brand new. The...
I'm using 12.11 and Dishonored refuses to play. I can make it to the loading screen for my current game, but after "press any key" the game just crashes.
I've been using this Vibrant for over two years with no protector. Multiple drops from >2 feet and the screen looks just as good as the day I bought it. Not all phones are equal I guess.
Someone gave me an iMac and I'd like to wipe the drive clean. Not really familiar with OS X, I have no idea how to do this. I don't have an OS disc either. Any suggestions?
I think it's currently running 10.5 and is an iMac G5.
I can assure you the game is not locked at 30FPS. I don't run an FPS counter because I like to play my games, not stare at a number, but I was definitely getting 60 average for a majority of the game. In the larger setpieces towards the end my frames did drop but that's to be expected.
Batman cannot activate on Steam but Darkness II can.
Darkness II is a really fun game but a tiny bit on the short side. I played through the single player and part of the co-op in 7 hours on the highest available difficulty.
Well, turns out my router is not the issue. I'm plugged directly into my modem and I'm still getting disconnected. I JUST purchased this SB6121, and when I check the logs I see shit like this:
Is this the line coming into the modem or is the modem faulty?
It's about as generic as one can get with arena shooters. CryEngine is clearly not meant for this style of game. I'd avoid it because the multiplayer will be dead within a week.
I installed TomatoUSB on it but the problem is still persisting. I even underclocked it a bit to help with potential heat issues. I'm at my wits end here - this was not a cheap router. Is there anything I can look at in the UI when my connection drops that would help me figure out what's going on?
I can't win. After dealing with the internet dropping once every two weeks, I decided that upgrading the firmware might help. Turns it all it did was exacerbate the problem and now my internet drops every few minutes. I've been plugged into my modem for a good 20 minutes at this point with no...
This is a joke, right? Competition is good, but the market will always sway towards the greater good. If Steam ever became an evil platform people would move away from it. Valve got Steam to where it is by being good to their customers and offering amazing prices and services that outweigh the...
Steam has plenty of issues. It forgets shortcuts that I've added. It forgets my categories on occasion. I have to sometimes click on sections multiple times for the a page to load.
But guess what? Despite all these issues, it's still the best digital distribution platform available. For people...
Would you also say Valve is not indie then? EA publishes all Valve retail products under the EA Partners label - the same label that EA published all of these games.
All of these games were developed by indie studies and published through EA Partners. But why would the internet care to do...
You're comparing a PC tech demo to console-developed games. We get low quality textures and poor lighting because games are developed for the lowest common denominator - the Xbox 360.
So I just tried burning a dual-layer DVD with my laptop, only to have it error out. I tried burning again and it told me to connect a device. Confused, I tried opening my drive. Nothing.
I checked My Computer and my drive wasn't listed. Checked Device Manager, then looked in the BIOS and...
This wouldn't be an issue for PC gamers at all, but won't happen because it would require the developer to spend more time on the lowest selling version of their game.
This is a console issue. Watching my brother play Batman: AC on his Xbox, I couldn't really tell a difference between cutscene and in-game footage. When I got home and played on my PC, the compression on the cutscenes was extremely noticeable.
