Edit: I found the "Account Upgrades" hidden over in the profile drop-down. You can delete this thread.
I can't access:

As soon as I installed my FE 4080S, my TX-1000 started switching off every few days under gpu load. It's driving me nuts. I tried disconnecting the 12V sense wire but no change. What's weird is that the 4080S is about 100w less than the notorious Evga 3080Ti FTW3 that was in the machine...
Yeah so I had a surprising development yesterday. Well first, the latest TX-1000 + evga 3080 Ti FTW3 has been 100% fine since last Oct (so 7 months usage no hiccups). Yesterday I swiped the TX-1000 and 3080 Ti for a new build. I installed the original older 850W with a humble RTX 3050. Guess...
Today I installed the SeaSonic Prime TX-1000 to replace the older SeaSonic Prime 850 Ultra Titanium. So far, no accidental OCP (over current protection) triggers with the 3080Ti FTW3 Ultra. Handy that the cables were the same, so I could just swap PSUs without re-threading the entire case with...
Just got an "EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 GAMING" card, and my "SeaSonic Prime Ultra 850 Titanium" (purchased June 2018) flips my PC off and back on after a while of some gaming. I guess I will try an updated TX-1000 unit. It was never my plan to have a 350W video card, but that's what was offered to...
Is this what's-his-name reincarnated? He used so many names and so many accounts on so many forums. I think so, because if you search this thread title, OP has posted it to dozens of sites. Yup, it's him, I recognize some of the handles. Can't believe this guy is STILL at it.
Hi, Litwicki.
The old AMD building was demolished to make way for another round of condos I believe. Sunnyvale Fry's would make a great location for a grocery store. In fact, I'm gonna call that in as my wager right now.
Wrt computer parts, seemed like Fry's tried to move parts to people that weren't savvy enough to have a look online. 99% of their usb thumb drives were old and slow, and the couple models that were recent cost twice what they did online and were locked in a plastic cabinet by the rep's PC...
The key I received upgraded Home to Pro. The catch was that as soon as I installed the Asus specific software on my laptop, it would lock to Home (thus it wouldn't upgrade the stock OS install). So I had to do a clean install, PITA. Save your C:\eSupport folder if you have an Asus laptop...
Asus TUF FX505DV-PB74 (Ryzen 3750H + RTX 2060)
To get into the bios, all I can find is Windows -> Settings -> Recovery -> Reboot -> Troubleshoot -> Advanced -> Enter UEFI. Surely there must be a faster way. What if Windows isn't booting/working to use this method? => ugh, hold F2, *then* turn...
Nah, what I mean is they could have done a lot better job with the number of zones it currently has. Yeah, more zones more better, but that still wouldn't solve the fade and color shift in general. They need some AI calibration to best tune the parameters.
Yeah for gaming and movies and...
I turned off local dimming recently. I got tired of it dimming the corner of my various windows (black wallpaper), and actually changing the color tint slightly. I think they could have done a lot better job. Perfect task for AI and a camera pointed at the screen.
Can I plug a 9900K or 9900KS into a Z390 Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero motherboard, and it'll work okay? I think my delidded 8086K is starting to show problems, I used high voltage to get 5GHz. That or my day one 2080Ti is fizzling out, which is a real possibility.
I am stumped why my sig says...
No, I kept the laptop's OS exactly the way I found it. I simply re-aligned/expanded the partitions because the 120gb ssd was slightly larger than the 100gb hdd, and ssd works best with aligned partitions. I had to do the CD "quick repair" (probably was fixboot /mbr) to get it to boot after the...
I actually had a 32b Vista dvd (wow lol that made my day), booted, clicked repair, bam everything works! Not my PC, just breathing life into a poor person's PC, it's all I can reasonably do. $8 ram (2x1GB) and $19 120gb ssd. Their PC was choking on 1x512M, it hurts to think that they suffered...
Helping someone upgrade from HDD to SSD on an older laptop. What I am trying to do is re-align C: from sector 63 to 4096. I used gparted via Linux to clone and then shuffle D: to 2M alignment which worked fine. Aligning and expanding C: worked fine also (as far as mounting via Linux etc), but...
This is what's happening to me. Every legendary is useless, I have better random other weapons already that are levels above the legendaries that drop.
The Epic Game Launcher gave me a pop-up notification ad today for another game. Is there a way to turn the ads off? Is it just the "show free game notifications"? And I turned off "run when computer starts".
Thanks I found that finally. The tutorial is broken on mine. It says "Hit R ..." and the bottom of the screen says X but neither work, so I skipped the tutorial. Then X works.
