Granted there hasn't been one as significant as the iTouch's recent update but the last one for the Zune was pretty significant IMO. It added the ability to play games, wireless sync, and access/purchase items from the Zune Marketplace straight from the Zune. :D

Nope, I believe in what I own. Compared to my friends 1200, my HAF is much quieter. No, fans don't make-up all of the noise in a case, but they do make up quiet a bit of it. Also, with the vibration pads things on the hard-drive racks, I never hear them. I will agree that it isn't a silent case...

Why not just buy a wireless card for his and wireless router? He is only 30ft away and no one would ever know he is using your signal. If you don't want other people using it, lock it and give him the password.

Do you mean the actual sleep button on the start menu or the text one that's in the list? You can change the sleep button to a shutdown button if you wish in power options. The list one I am not sure.
