No luck i am completely baffled because i could play these games online last week now whenever i start call of duty 4 or cod 5 on multilayer it instantly crashes and pc locks up but single player is fine hmmm very baffled. Scanned for viruses nothing i guess i need to reinstall

Yes the games are call of duty4 and 5 i will update my nic drivers as soon as i get home but i am sure there up-to-date.

Corsair XMS3 CMX6GX3M3A1600C9 the bios is on auto all ways has been just started getting this error yesterday DET RAM LOCKED pc has been running fine since i replaced the graphics card was good for 3 days then this :( I am running memtest now i guess i will need to do at least 6 times.

Hi i checked the monitor and changed the cables it still does the same thing on some games but i did notice something else when the screen went black and then into standby the sound just went in loops so it was a black screen with this sound just thumping on i just had to restart it by hand...

Yes i did that at first then i reinstalled windows and change it in bios now i can see 4 cores, BUT evrest will not start it loads up the scanning system screen then disapears nvidia monitor works and shows up all the cores but i can not work out why evrest wont fire up.

Well danny got the corsair 750w and the system seems stable,I think i can put this double restart stuff to rest and say its NOT normal to do this so if any 1 has this problem maybe changing the psu would be a good place to start. ;)

Just hope it boots my 9800GTX up properly ,I will go for the 750w corsair :)

Cold boot is to do with the windows OS booting not the power on and off ,When my pc reboots twice it does not even get to the post screen so cold boot is not even initialized.
