Lets all cry that someone took away a feature of your toy.
Be fucking grateful you consider yourself among those of the "healthy" others. Consideration for the disabled should only happen when able bodied people find it convenient.
THAT IS THE HORSE SHIT, you and the others who like this...
He brought name calling into this by implying that because some of us believe that NV products are being sold at a price higher than what we believe they're worth, we're fucking whiners.
This has nothing to due with WV system or using block chain to create a permanent record.
Systemic voter fraud? No, there isn't strong evidence that it has swayed a national election, especially against the republican party (who you seem to support, going by your posts.).
You call me a...
Really? You're serious with this post?
Take off the tin foil hat.
I support this measure, it should be easier to vote rather than more difficult. Its interesting that one side always seems to have a vested interest in making voting more difficult, especially for certain demographics. I guess...
Not a hardcore PC gamer.... Ok friend. In 2011 I finished 30 pc games. In 2012 I finshed 35. 2013 I finished 32. 2014 I finished 20. In 2015 I got back up to 37. In 2016 it was about 20 and last year it was 25.
Life is short but long enough that most of us have to watch our money and sometimes...
Cool, I'll watch.
Modern cards and the memorabilia industry are complete and utter trash, from what I've seen on YT its all about super high end products and group breaks.
That's true, sometimes you need to buy for today, especially if you hit a performance/resolution wall. Mass Effect Andromeda was the camel that broke my gtx 660ti's back.
I only see the PS5/Next Box being great than GTX1080 performance due to the release of the xboneX and PS4Pro. Sony and...
Ha, you and I are of the same mind when it comes to gaming. I had the choice between a 1050ti and PS4, went PS4 all the way.
The x60 series of cards has been my bread and butter since 2010 and I haven't suffered from "can't run it" syndrome at any point. Anything over $200 and you have to...
You could get by on a GTX 970 but your not coming close to sniffing 1440P or highest settings.
The crypto craze priced out a ton of people from buying newer cards but most of us were able to get by with our existing cards during the affordability drought. I'm hoping that NV doesn't double down...
The Half Life series is a relic now and I'm glad that it ended with HL2 EP2, especially considering what "Episode 3" was supposed to be via the script details. Left 4 Dead 3 would be a welcome surprise but its clear that when they made all of the LD4 1 maps playable on LD42 that they considered...
I love my local libraries and there are always tons of people there. I rent everything from books to PS4 games at my local library and I'm involved with a few library clubs as well. Fuck, I usually hit it up most Saturday afternoons just to read the most interesting graphic novel I can find and...
I fail to see how this situation is so dire. Solo was a flop. The rest of their films were pretty wild successes and they all reached a billion WW box office.
Finish the new trilogy and be ultra selective with your spin off films. Keep the TV, Games, Merch and EU stuff going and drip feed the...
You will all laugh, but late one night I cleaned out my keyboard (ducky 1087) and was just too lazy to put the keys back on the right place. I'm a long, long time touch typist so this hasn't bothered me in the slightest in the month since then.
Its like AMD's mid tier cards suddenly can't run anything at 1080p. While the Ryzen 2200 and 2400G are the new savior of budget gaming somhow...
NV has the fastest overall card so all of their cards are better via trickle-down epeen-nomics.
I haven't seen a lot of old dell monitors fail. I've got a 2407WFP just turning 10 years old and 2007WFP turning 11 this year. Both still work, not as bright as they may have been but they're still going.
At my place of work there are a lot of old monitors still in use. A 12 year old samsung...
It may have to wait until after the current admin finishes in either 2020 or 2024, I agree but I don't see mass adoption of self driving cars before then either.
Eventually I could see the NHTSA creating a kind of "test track" for self driving cars and a certification program. The sooner the better. Silicon valley hates gov't intervention but lives are at stake here. So deal.
I don't believe we're at the point yet where PC gamers are abandoning the hobby in droves due to the inability to purchase new cards to keep their rigs running. If you don't need the latest and greatest than a GTX 970 still does the job at 1080p. If this goes on another couple of years/into the...
On the one hand, I'm with you about the mining, they can buy all the cards they want, I'm not in the market for a new card myself. Console and older pc games FTW. Just play rocket league FFS. At the end of the day, your high end gaming PC is a toy.
On the other hand, you sound like a...
The GPU market was never prepared for this kind of insane demand surge. Ramping up production both difficult and could really backfire if NV or AMD ends up writing off big stocks of unsold merch a few years from now.
Neither NV or AMD really want to piss of resellers either. The only happy...
So I figured it out. Turns out, I had Blu-Ray/DVD video set to output at RGB, when really they are coded in YCbCr. I set my display to full (0-255) and set Blu-Ray/DVD to YCbCr and problem solved. :)
Hopefully this will help someone in the future. Sadly, CRTs are yesterday's tech and we're all...
I'll probably mirror them on the CRT (ps3 only, not hooked up to pc atm) and LCD and try to get them to match.
My pc has a GTX 660 ti with DVI-I so I've never needed to set my black level while using the crt with my PC. LCD I have to reset every time I clean install the drivers, which is...
I am using a J5Create HDMI to VGA with Audio.

Yes I can change the settings between full and limited range. Full appears to be too dark. Limited still looks great, better than my current PLS lcd...
Hello hardforum CRT masters.
I was going to sell/toss my Sony F500 but I decided to get an hdmi to vga adapter and hook it up to my playstion 3. So I set it up and I have a question; Should I be using full range (0-255) or limited range for the hdmi output. Full range seems a little too dark...
I've got a 660ti. Witcher 3, Fallout4 and GTAVI all run well on a mix of settings at 1080p. My current cpu is an AMD 860k, which is a good deal faster, so YMMV.
Pretty much all about the games. I enjoy reading about new hardware but I'm still gaming with a gtx 660 ti. Heck, I'm still working through my PS3 backlog. Old games are cheaper than brand new hardware and new games often go on sale.
