The adaptor I have has all the pins. I have also tested this using my HDTV and I get sound. So it is the monitor.

I am using HDMI. I have tested that the HDMI connection when connected to my HDTV produces sound. When I plug the same cable into the monitor and connect speakers to the green jack on the side I get no sound. Has anyone else been using this jack? Anything I might be doing wrong?
