You should still be able to do that from Add\Remove Programs. But you also want to remove any and all previous video drivers you had installed before you install the 7800GS drivers. This is what Driver Cleaner Pro is for. Although you can also use it to remove other drivers as well. It would not...

I take it you removed the previous vid drivers before installing the new ones ? If not this could be your problem. Download Driver Cleaner Pro and follow the instructions to remove the older vid drivers. Then install the latest vid drivers for the 7800GS...

What did you bump the card with ? Your hand or something like your watch ? Have you removed the vid card and re-installed it ? Like physically take the card out of it's slot and inspect it make sure it looks ok and re-install it into the same slot. I have no idea how a bump could cause...
