I installed an Intel 320 120GB in my Lenov and am very happy with it. I put an M4 in my desktop but the laptop isn't SATA 3 which is why I went with the Intel 320 in my laptop. I don't know benchmark minutia but subjectively it is worlds faster than the original HD

I got an Intel Intel PWLA8391GT 10/100/1000Mbps PCI PRO/1000 $26.99 Newegg.OEM no driver. Installed to WHS. Used motherboard NIC to go online and it found, downloaded, and installed the driver (driver said "Pro/1000" driver). Works perfectly. WHS now noticably faster than with onboard (Atheros)...
Looks good. On my Asus MB the multiplier would drop when idling because of power saving, so I disabled it in BIOS. My temps also run low 30s idle and low 50s load. My (Corsair) memory will run 4-4-4-12 if I up DRAM voltage to 2.1. vCore 1.375; FSB 1.400; NB 1.450; SB 1.50; ICH auto; vDRAM 2.1v.
