I have this PC:

I'm worried about the cheaper motherboard which actually is running great
with no issues.
I'm not sure about the whole 4x speed thing on the PCI Express slot?
I would want to be able to have this PCIe SSD working at it's...
I'm going back to a 1440p glossy screen because I can't stand the matte of the 4k ones.
It doesn't look that great to me. If the matte wasn't there it would probably look amazing.
Would a 1440p glossy look better than a 4k with the matte on it?
Images still look very good or video if they are 4k but not sure
if downgrading to 1440p on glossy would disapoint?
I know that macbook pro retina display for sure does not disappoint.
Looks better than this 4k display...
Thanks. I'm not sure how much of a benefit it would be to remove the AG coating?
The matte doesn't seem to be as bad on some older model monitors I've seen before.
The colors seem fine to me now I just really want that clarity like glossy panels have.
I seem to not get the same...
I just got my 2415q yesterday.
Is this a common issue for it not to recognize anything when plugged in for the Dells assuming the set to the correct port on the monitor?
Also is this monitor Semi gloss or just full matte? I can see the graininess pretty well so I assume it's just regular...
I just got the Dell 2415q 4k monitor.
It does look good but I think it could look so much better with out the matte
or semi gloss or whatever it is.
You can see the matte screen in front of everything else if you get about a foot away.
Sometimes even from a couple feet if the background color...
Yes things were smaller because of the higher resolution but didn't seem too much different.
Nothing even close to the macbook retinas and I don't even like macs.
Yep had it set to 1440p.
You can tell a little difference but nothing that spectacular.
I was expecting more out of the 1440p I guess?
I put them side by side and they didn't seem that much different.
I just thought that since the 24 has more ppi it would look a little better but not sure?
Having a tough time with which I'll get.
I'm in the US but the good priced ones are all out of stock from what I can see.
THere are a couple on amazon but they are from some other places I don't know of...
It's not an IPS. I think the guy above me is the only one who mentioned that.
Unless I accidentally did up top.
EIther way when I used it it was pretty darn good and angles.
But anyways I think I'm going to get the 24 inch dell 2415q.
From what I hear it has crazy good quality and...
I just bought a BenQ BL2710PT and it was nice but wasn't please with the sharpenss or clarity of the monitor. I currently have an Asus MX279 1080p monitor and couldn't even really tell a difference between the two other than the color was better on a certain preset the BenQ had.
I want to...
Just got the benq bl2710 monitor today.
Got it for around 400 dollars.
It has great color but doesn't seem to look as good in the clarity or sharpness area
like the macbook retina does.
I would like to find a monitor that looks just as good as the macbook retinas display.
Does the...
I have this processor and a Zotac GTX 970 8gb ram and an ssd with lots of space left.
I unistalled the newest version of flash player b/c 4k video on youtube would run my processor almost 100% and it would skip.
After uninstalling flash play I went to watch 4k videos so maybe it didn't get...
Now I'm seeing when I watch 4k video on youtube is slow and choppy and my CPU which is a i5 4460 is running almost at 100%. It did not do this before.
Not sure what is happening but it's staring to piss me off.
4k video has always ran smooth on this computer. I've only had it for 3 weeks...
Ok so I have another question.
My card ran any game on ultra at 60c. BF4, Far Cry 4 whatever.
But I installed the Star Citizen Alpha and now every time I play a game I can here the fans spinning hard and the card is in the mid 70s range.
I don't understand what happened to the card?
One thing I can do in the software that came with the GPU is lower the default temp setting. Right now the default is set to 79c. If I set that lower like to 70c the card stays at that temp but it shows it's not using it's full power is what it looks like but the game doesn't seem to loose any FPS.
So this card is great!
I do have a question tho. On every game I max the graphics out and the max temp the card ever gets to is 60c.
Now the other day I downloaded Star Citizen which I know is still in alpha but the card shoots up to 78c in a few minutes and my processor which usually runs...
Gotcha. I'll check when I get home how my processor is handling the games and also will research to see if those games actually utilize all 4 cores. I would think they would but not sure.
Yeah I actually just got the i5 only like 4 days old with my new build and it really is fast but didn't know if upgrading would be that much better for gaming.
Just wondering if this is worth it?
I didn't know if the i7 would help FPS/performance in games.
I won't be overclocking. Right now I have a GTX 970 with the 4460.
Didn't know if the i7 k would help out in games like Flight Simulator X or Arma 3 that seem to be CPU intensive I guess...
I'm looking for a CPU fan for an i5 4460 LGA 1150 Haswell processor.
I just don't want to take the motherboard out to have to put a back plate on.
I'm not sure which is a good CPU fan and which would be compatable. I know I can
see some that newegg has if I choose the LGA1150 CPU fan...
I work on iphones so this shouldn't be an issue :)
Anyways. I am getting the seasonic you recommended at first.
That one will work with an ITX case right if I understand you correctly?
Thanks

Just saw the itx cases and that would be great. Look to be compact.
Would I need a different mobo or just and ATX one?
Not sure how to make a build for a smaller case?
I would probably put it on the floor and it's not dirty.
I would prefer making something smaller bc want to keep the room uncluttered.
I'll check out that premium mobo.
