benq bl2710 and macbook pro retina

Just got the benq bl2710 monitor today.

Got it for around 400 dollars.

It has great color but doesn't seem to look as good in the clarity or sharpness area
like the macbook retina does.

I would like to find a monitor that looks just as good as the macbook retinas display.

Does the macbook look better bc of the ppi? I know this one has 109 ppi and I think the macbook has 227 ppi or something.

Is that what makes the difference?

Sounds like you want a glossy display then. The BenQ has a good semi gloss coat but its still doesnt look as nice as a glossy monitor, as long as your lighting conditions allow it.

If you want a retina display you might want to consider getting a 27" 4K semi glossy.
