Just curious what you guys throught of this phone, I'm thinking about getting it. Much sleeker and just as quick (slightly quicker) then the Droid.
So I have this customer that has Earthlink through Time Warner and we're having some problems setting up a router:
Surfboard modem->PC -- I get a 76.15.209.178 IP, which belongs to Earthlin
modem->router->PC -- Router will not get an IP address
Power cycled router and modem, still no IP...
Ok so I have 2 identical PC's with Win7, currently wired to a Linksys WRT54G router, and if I go into Computer->Network, it shows both pc's and the printer, and all their shared folders
I bought a new Linksys WRT610N to gain gigabit and wireless N speeds. So same 2 computers, in this router...
So I have Time Warner Roadrunner as my ISP and any time I do any type of p2p I get disconnected from the internet completely - until I power cycle my modem.
When it happens, the Send light on the modem turns completely off (usually it blinks due to activity).

I'm looking for some resources to teach our Tier 1 techs more about VoIP and Telephony in general. I've tried googling for resources, I found some decent articles and guides, but my supervisor was looking for some Flash based demos that they can just watch and follow through on their own time...
I thought it was just a developer tool... but this kid is trying to tell me you can play xbox games on your pc by syncing the two with XNA
I was moaning about MW2 and he thinks I can play it on my PC using the keyboard and mouse if I sync them up with that XNA tool from Microsoft.
Any...

I'm at a company that blocks RDP altogether. I cannot even remote to my server at home, I know my network is not the issue because I can get in from anywhere else.
TeamViewer works, but it's a lot slower.
Any way to tunnel RDP over another protocol so it's masked from our internal firewall...
Is there any time of centralized website that shows most US ISP's and any potential issues they're having.
ex. if my company sees a pattern of Comcast customers having issues with their dns, is there a place we can port to, or check to see if others are having that issue?
Someone find a motherboard under 150, maybe under 120, for a Q9400 that I can use DDR2 800 memory with. Does not need anything else, I don't care about USB ports or raid. I will be using this for a slight OC and it's going in a gaming rig
k go.
Upgraded from a 8400GT (not even a gaming card) to a GTS 250 (aka 9800GTX+)
I play Crysis and WoW
I got about 10fps more using the new card.. a mere 10. It allowed me to take one setting from half way to 3/4 way up... that's it.
$120 for a brand new card and it's giving dismal performance...

Two slots on separate buses: 2 x 64-bit/133MHz PCI-X or 1 x 64-bit/133MHz
PCI-X and 1 x 64-bit/33MHz PCI
I need to add SATA support to this server using a pci addon card. Can someone show me a card that would work...
Something less then $150
Minimum Specs:
P4, 2GB Ram, couple hard drives
Nothing specific, must be Intel and a 1U would be preferred while a 2U would be ok.
edit: would go 200 shipped, gotta be a good deal though, let me know what you have!
Cable internet through Pentele Data - some small cable internet/tv company
Modem->router->pc
Router gets Public ip, something like 75.141.218.112
PC gets Public ip, something like 70.69.212.71
Not actual ip's, but very similar
How can the PC get a public ip? Wouldn't the router...
Looking to run video game on one monitor, and IM/email app on the second, but is this straining my video card much more than it would with just 1 monitor?
Have my choice between:
Pentium D 3.0ghz with an Intel motherboard
and
Pentium E2160 1.8 with a Foxcon motherboard
Same memory, same drives, only thing different is the motherboard and processor

How can you prove you passed an A+ or CCNA certification? Is there just a document, is there a special number attached to your cert that can be looked up through CompTIA or Cisco?
Need something with a C2D, and over 400GB of space.
I know Asus is releasing a new laptop in the next month or so with 1TB, but what about in the mean time? The most I can seem to get is 2x 200's.
While reviewing the 8800GT, I noticed Tomshardware has this review:
http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/10/29/geforce_8800_gt
in which it shows the GT is a bit slower than the GTX.
But on their vga charts:
http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics_2007.html
when you compare the two, the GT...

Sony 52" TV
What will the picture be like if I hook up my pc with a 8800ultra to the tv? worse or better picture then say a 24" gateway?
Actually made by Intel
Prob gonna pair it with a Q6600, unless someone says otherwise. 4-8GB Ram, and no on board video plz
edit: what do u guys think in general of E6850 vs Q6600??
Is it better by enough to make it worth the price? I have a customer with a large budget, but no reason to overspend on the ultra if it's not much better.
Looking at the 8400GS, 7300GT, 2400PRO, x1650, etc.
Must be PCI-Expressx16
edit: Looking to game, just WoW, it's for my little bro, he's got a P4 3.0, 1.5GB Ram
Anyone seen this happen? Raise the memory or core clock more then like 2hz and it freezes system and I have to hard reboot.
Using the latest CCC and ATI Tool '.25 Beta 15'
Another question regarding ATI tool.
What is Geometry Instancing? It is set to Disabled, should I enable this?
I only play BF2142 and it doesn't look as good as I'd like it to. Obviously hugely restrained by my hardware.
I've always used the in game settings and have never used any AA or AF, I never get to crank up the settings all the way.
That's the way I've thought of it, crank the in game settings...

Have an ATI x1950PRO. Looking to pump a little more juice outta this thing.
Besides overclocking, I've concidered using Omega drivers instead of the latest ATI drivers.
Any advantages/disadvantages?

I guess this would fit under this category as it technically is a small laptop?
