I doubt that there is or was anything wrong with the machine. Remember that we all use programs different ways. Just because it doesn't crash for you doesn't mean it can't for someone else.
On another note, troubleshooting a problem like that is nearly impossible, I tried to find some...
I've seen Itunes bring down an imac about 5 different times. Even with it completely updated. Frankly, I had winxp on my computer for years and it crashed like that once.
They absolutely are, but it would still cost less too by that hard drive and a scsi controller than the ssd drive. It wouldn't be that much faster than a raptor, according to the reviews I looked at it really shines with random data access.
I'm equally lazy, but I just used game exe's that don't require a cd. I'm pretty sure that if you own the game legally you can do this. If this is against the rules of the forum, please let me know and i'll edit this.
These drives are absolutely for laptops at this point. Due to thier lack of moving parts and they use much less power.
However, since you seem to be looking for the absolute in speed, even at this devices steep price. I would look into the 15k hard drives. I seriously doubt that a ssd is...
It's hasn't even been an hour and a half since you started this thread, 32 minutes since the last answer. Be patient!
Only thing I can think of is that the website blacklisted your specific computer and or ip address. Especially since you can access it through a proxy. I would contact...
My best guess as to why its only on an incoming call is because the phone base broadcasts on every, or most channels when it receives a call.
Try changing the channel to 1, 6, and 12 to see if it helps.
I've known quite a few people with lots of networking book knowledge. Frankly they were just as useful at solving problems as someone who had a basic knowledge. Unless of course the problem was one of the ones in the book.
Clearly you were not running a raid-0 array then, you take one drive out of a 2 drive raid-0 array you've effectively lost half of every file on the computer which makes all these files corrupt.
You should go over some of the problems that they could have with it. Like every script kiddie in the city trying out their 1337 hacks on the wireless network. And trying to keep people from getting into other computers.
Concrete walls are one the worst things for wireless to get through effectively. But befroe you try to do that, are you sure that your ISP allows this kind of thing?
Since this is happening whenever ony when Azureus runs, its highly doubtful its a DDoS attack. You're just seeing bittorent do what it normally does. Send out connections to peers, and receive connections from peers. Try lowering the maximum simultaneous outbound connections, and the Max...
Well, the circuit city website doesn't say much of anything about the actual specs of the card, so the only difference is the very end of the model number.
Try unplugging the data and power cable for the hard drive. Don't forget the data cable on the motherboard. Then plug them back in and see if you have the problem anymore.
Pevo is talking about theoretical peak bandwidth. I had my raid 0 array on a sata 150 controller for a long time. Burst was always about 120MB/s. Then i put it on a sata 300 controller, and the burst speed went up to about 210MB/s.
I don't know of any software raid with online capacity expansion. But i do know that some of the high end raid controllers support this.
The more discs that you add to an array the higher the likelyhood of one of them failing. I'm not totally sure what amount of discs in an array would warrant...
Heat would definately not be a probelm with those componenets, just don't put a computer or something like that in there. With the reception you migh have problems depending on what the cabinet is made out of and how thick it is.
Try pinging her friends computer, make sure if it has a firewall that its off while you do that. If that works try pinging google or some other common website.
See if you can find some newer drivers for you drive. If you can't it sounds like a bug specific to that drive, let microsoft know about it so they can fix it.
You shouldn't be able to notice a difference between them, but i am suprised that a 40GB hard drive came with a 16MB cache normally they use smaller ones on smaller hard drives.
