So, I got enough money for a game and I'm having trouble deciding which game to get. I rather get an xbox game, but I could get a pc game if there are some good suggestions. I'm looking at three games but I'm open to other suggestions. I already have fallout 3, cod waw, and fable 2.
After not having played GTA4 for a while, I tried playing it this past weekend. I received a dirty disc before the game was able to load. I took a look at the disc and it had one of those circular scratches around the outside of the disc usually caused by the xbox. This happened before with...
So I might get the P-6860FX, which will come with a free game, from bestbuy. I have narrowed the games to five, but can't decide which one to choose. I haven't really kept up with pc gaming as of lately. I'm really only familiar with company of heroes and crysis, but the other three seem...
I need a laptop to replace my desktop for gaming and for college as well. I'm considering in buying a gateway P-6860FX. I'm pretty sure it will do fine for gaming, but I'm not sure how useful it can be for college when compared to more portable laptops. Should I buy the P-6860FX or should I...
I use headphones when I play on the 360 as well. What I do is I set the voice output to speakers only through the 360 menu and then wear the mic around my neck pointing it towards my mouth so I can still talk.
A friend of mine who has a linksys router used to have the same problem when we used to both play halo 2 on his connection, this was with original xboxes though. He fixed the problem by upgrading his router's firmware to the latest one.
I have windows xp on my 160gb hdd, and I'm thinking on installing Vista on my secondary 200gb hdd. My question is, will Vista replace all my files on my secondary hdd and reformat it or will my files be intact. Also when trying to install it, it gave me a message about my previous windows being...
Well, if the Halo franchise is only average, what makes all other fps on consoles? Bad? Sadly, the answer is probably yes, the only fps I have got myself to enjoy on a console has been Halo 1 and Halo 2, more so for Halo 1. Again, the balance and game mechanics of Halo 1 made it a masterpeice...
I myself like Halo 1, and I see it as more than just an average fps. You have to understand the multiplayer, have played with good people, played with good settings, and knowledge of the game, to understand exactly how perfect the multiplayer aspect of Halo 1 is, and how much of a masterpiece it...
The headphone jack of my mp3 player is messed up. Audio will only come out of the right ear, and the left ear will either be distorted or none at all. I have to mess around with the jack and my earbuds' plug until I can get sound on both ears. Is there some solution to fixing this problem?
I'm new to computer audio, and while purchasing headphones, I have seen on various sites that an amp can improve the headphone's sound quality. I'm wondering how an amp works and how it connects to your computer, and if it would be better to buy an amp or a sound card for the headphones?
I am having one problem, the videos, especially the beginning one displaying the logos and the one you see when you start a new game are choppy and the sound is choppy as well, I have reinstalled the game already and hasn't fixed the problem. Also, the game plays fine when I am ingame.
