The headphone jack of my mp3 player is messed up. Audio will only come out of the right ear, and the left ear will either be distorted or none at all. I have to mess around with the jack and my earbuds' plug until I can get sound on both ears. Is there some solution to fixing this problem?

are you sure it's the jack? It sounds like you might have broken the wires in your headphones. Check with another set of headphones to make sure it's actually the jack.

It has to be the jack, it also does it with other headphones, and when I try the headphones on my computer, they work just fine.
