I bought a processor recently that had some discoloring of some pin contacts, while looking for processors on ebay I noticed another with similar discoloration. I guess I'm just wondering if this is heat related, voltage, or just normal? The darker area on mid-left side.

I have a mobo that's fried, everything else on it is fine, along with case / all the parts. My question is, if I buy a new mobo and use my old parts, will windows work? What if it's the exact same brand/model mobo? I bought the thing second hand and didnt get any software. :(
