I have quad SLI and whenever I go to test my settings within the game I always get an average FPS of 34 ...even If I go down in resolution or if I change my AA to 2x from 4x...what gives...for one thing I should be getting higher FPS...and well...changes should effect the FPS
I have my res cranked up to 1920x1200 and all the settings up to the highest...and I only get 1.5 fps on average...I'm pretty sure that it should be much higher considering my setup...does anyone have any ideas?? I have the dual-core optimizer installed AND the latest AMD drivers...wtf is going on??
Who wants this....the first person to respond and say they will buy it and THEN put money into paypal will win...my paypal is [email protected]
This package has been opened but the PSU inside has never been taken out...My old 600 watt PSU died awhile back...and OCZ swapped me this...
I'm trying to find which drivers are best for Quad...I curretly use 91.37 but I find performance wise they suck with Oblivion and GRAW...is it just me or are the other previous 91 drivers better...what do you pepps use
Does anyone know what kind of symptoms are shown if you don't have enough wattage with your current PSU...I'm just a little concerned because I have quadsli...and only a 700w psu
well...I have four total drives...74GB and 150 Raptor...and 2x300GB SATA II Maxtor drives....the 74 GB is my boot drive...the 150 Raptor is my page file/gaming drive, and I was hoping to mirror the 2 300GB drives...however...when I do make an array it boots fine...but in windows it doesn't...
Go look at the site...it's hillarious the most busted computers are the highest ranked...its obvious people are just voting for themselves...mayble 'm made I'm not in the top 10 anymore

Did having not enought watts to cover my specs need for power kill my PSU?
I've been running the system in my sig for a little while now (a couple of months) and all the sudden my system just cut off...I tried to discharge the caps and restart...but if it even restarts, it's only for a minute...
Currently I have a 600W OCZ Powerstream for my setup, which includes dual 7950GX2's in SLI...two raptor drives, a sound card, and two DVD drives....now I know my PSU isn't Quad SLI certified....but still what are others with specs like mine using for PSUs?
Just got my quad SLI up and running...and well...does it not work on any games...it crashes GRAW...and it's choppy on FEAR...on the games it does play it's choppy...are these drivers not ready yet?
Meh...I really don't care that much...but since it's basically an even trade (meaning I don't have to pay anything but shipping) it makes sense to me.
Anyone else done this?
What's a good 12+ voltage to have, if you own 2 7900 GTX Superclocked in SLI...the guy at eVGA told me that 12.30-12.40 is where it should be....mine is usually at 12.03 and sometimes spikes up to 12.10...but never as high as the eVGA recommended levels....is this normal or should I mess with...
I'm selling this card for 400 plus shipping...it's only a month old and in great condition...the only think that I've done to it is remove the heatsink so I could WC it...I will put on the old heatsink and ship it to you with it's original box and contents...
One stipulation...you must wait...
I know everyone has probably seen this block before, but here's a post of mine for those who haven't
The box is kind of beaten up, but it's still cool, man :o
Here's a pic of the block itself:
ok...I bought Stasis Copper heatsinks for my VREGs on my cards...unfortunately they didn't come with any warning telling me how fragile the VREGs where, so I think they might have damaged my cards...I need pins for the VREGs heatsink so I can reinstall them for a possible RMA...does anyone know...
When I open CPU-Z the CPU voltage is always around .024 higher than what I actually have set in my bios...for example...I have 1.40v in the BIOS but it's 1.424 in CPU-Z. also...it tends move up and down sometimes...it might go from 1.424 to 1.408 or something like that. Is there something wrong...
Since I was shipped the wrong box and the wrong case badge for my proc...I asked where I could get one on this forum...low and behold, the Sales Manager of AMD FX procs sent me a nice heaping AMD Box 'O Swag! OVERNIGHT! Ain't it Cool!
I just put some watercooling gear on my vid cards...and they were working fine...temps were good...everything...15000+ on 3DMark05....and I was just surfing the web...and all these artifacts came on the screen...and then the screen turned black....I had to hold down the power button to turn off...
I've added a ton of coolant to my reservior and it looks like all of the tubes are filled with fluid and flow is good...yet whenever I turn my computer off, those huge bubbles show back in certain areas of my loop....when I turn it on...they go away yet I think they still get stuck...
I'm pissed...I get great GPU temps around 35c....but apparently when I run 3DMark05 I loose 2000+ point...I'm guessing its because i put passive OCZ copper heatsinks on the RAM and just a Maze 4 GPU blocks on both of my cards....I think since the ram runs way faster on these cards they generate...
These fittings take up all of my pci slots...I was expecting at least one left over for my sound card...but NO...they are all taken. Is anyone using an alternative fitting that can be bought at somewhere besides DD? Or does anyone have any mod ideas to free up a slot?
Has anyone had any problems WC'ing this particular video card...I know that the ram doesn't get hot enought to WC and I'm pretty sure that the DangerDen Maze4 blocks that I bought will cool the cores very well...I'm worried about the VREGs though...is this a huge concern when trying to run even...
My FX-60 came in a box marked x2...and the sticker was x2...but the name of the processor is FX....well when I download updates from AMD website...should I download the x2 updates or the FX updates...I want to download the FX updates, but since this new proc is a dual core, shouldn't I download...
If you're running Prime95 or SP2004 to check the stability of your overclock...is it a good thing to run two iterations of either program to work both cores?
Ok...this is the last post I will do about this...I promise.
Anyhow...just got my second card 15 minutes ago...here's a pic of my system...it's kind of crowded now, but I don't want to use onboard sound because it will decrease my FPS...
Well I'm off to do some benchies
Do you keep your sound card in the space between both vid cards or do you use your mobo sound....does keeping the sound card inbetween really cut the airflow from the GPU it's on top of?? because there isn't much room
I have dual channel OCZ 3200 ram...2 gigs worth...if I wanted to add two more gigs to my rig...would I have to get the same exact RAM brand and latency or could I get say Cosair memory with a slightly different latency...would this give a big performance hit?
