i hate playing as a soldier. im just no good at it. the two classes that i am pretty good at are spy and demo. being a spy is one of most fun things in the game imo. once you get 7 backstabs in a row, you feel pretty damn good lol.

i am in a simular predicament. i currently have a amd 64 3200+(not overclocked) and i am stuck between geting the most out of my 939 system or just go for a new am2 system.

yea its a banding problem. i really dont seem to notice it in game though, just in desktop use. if it really starts to bother me, then i think i will send it in. the monitor has a 3 year warrenty so i should be fine.

id say the lines are about 1.5-2 inches apart. ive been researching about the banding problems. im pretty sure thats what is wrong. is there anyway to fix this?

na its not that. you cant see it on white backgrounds. they are like faint white lines that are very noticeable on dark colors. it bugs the hell out of me. ive tried to take a picture of it but they wont show up. ill try again to see if i can get them to show up.

anyone? this problem is really bothering me and i would like to try to figure out what it is and fix it if it is possible.

i just started to notice this on my 941bw. there are these evenly spaced vertical lines that tend to stick out on solid backgrounds. they tend to show up more on gray, black, and blue colors. it is really starting to annoy me and i would like to figure out what this is. anyone have any thoughts?

ive been looking at upgrading my 3200+ for a while and i think i have settled on the opteron 165. you can find them for pretty cheap nowadays and from what i have read, they overclock very well. i just dont have the money to build a new system.

not a great ghetto mod but it works. zip-tied a spare 80mm fan to the extra pci slots in the rear of my pc to help cool my HOT x1900gt.

doom 3 the first 2 times i played it, ravenholm in hl2, fear, and stalker has had its moments where i was like WTF! and started flipping out.

not sure if this is in the right section but i recorded some videos of my band playing and the audio is pretty distorted. is there anyway that i can clear up the distortion a bit so the audio is a bit clearer?

the outdoors are alright looking, but the indoor scenes are amazing imo.

man i remember that part of the game. defending the garbage yard at night during a thunderstorm was the most memorable part of the game so far.
