the guitar player in my band has one. its pretty damn nice but i still think he prefers his Ibanez JEMs. he has 2 white JEMs and a 20th aniversery JEM. rich bastard haha
mine is just a name my dad made up about 5 years ago. i really liked it and have been using it for multiple uses (AIM, games, forums, etc). some other names that i go by on other sites and games are Liandros, Chester(variations such as Chester405 or 406), and TheBigOne(sometimes TheB1gOne)...
there was one instance that i remember when i got a huge adrenaline rush. before Day of Defeat source came out, i played Day of Defeat on a regular basis. one night i was playing avalanche on some random server. i was on the allied side and the battle was epic. for about an hour the teams...
i hate playing as a soldier. im just no good at it. the two classes that i am pretty good at are spy and demo. being a spy is one of most fun things in the game imo. once you get 7 backstabs in a row, you feel pretty damn good lol.
after reading through the end song lyrics, i picked up something interesting.
"maybe you'll find someone else to help you...maybe black mesa"
this may refer to chell (the portal character) getting help from gordon or encountering him in ep3.
just finsihed the demo and i was shocked. definate improvement over the old game. i ran it on medium settings with deph of field enabled and it ran wonderfully. no hitches or slowdowns at all during gameplay. only slowdown is at the begining of a loaded save game. after a few seconds pass...
well im definatly looking forward to my copy of pc gamer. mine always seem to come in late. thank god there are no more mutants. im kinda sick of mutants and aliens now.
i think it looks great. the fire screenshots look amazing. best looking fire in a game. its nice to see a different setting. im starting to get tired of jungle fights. this will certainly prove to be a interesting game.
well i think i decided that i will go with an am2 system. i figured that i will have a better upgrade path than what i currently have with my 939 system. ill be going down to 1gb of ram from 1.5gb but ddr2 ram is not that expensive now so i can upgrade it later. plus ill be moving to dual...
i am in a simular predicament. i currently have a amd 64 3200+(not overclocked) and i am stuck between geting the most out of my 939 system or just go for a new am2 system.
yea its a banding problem. i really dont seem to notice it in game though, just in desktop use. if it really starts to bother me, then i think i will send it in. the monitor has a 3 year warrenty so i should be fine.
id say the lines are about 1.5-2 inches apart. ive been researching about the banding problems. im pretty sure thats what is wrong. is there anyway to fix this?
na its not that. you cant see it on white backgrounds. they are like faint white lines that are very noticeable on dark colors. it bugs the hell out of me. ive tried to take a picture of it but they wont show up. ill try again to see if i can get them to show up.
i just started to notice this on my 941bw. there are these evenly spaced vertical lines that tend to stick out on solid backgrounds. they tend to show up more on gray, black, and blue colors. it is really starting to annoy me and i would like to figure out what this is. anyone have any thoughts?
ive been looking at upgrading my 3200+ for a while and i think i have settled on the opteron 165. you can find them for pretty cheap nowadays and from what i have read, they overclock very well. i just dont have the money to build a new system.
wow i have pretty much the same desk with the same monitor. although my desk is sagging in the middle due to a 19inch crt being on it for about a year.
meh oh well. i dont want to completely trash my case so i went for something simple, not something to rack up foodstamps lol. and trust me, i have done things more ghetto than this but not necessarily to my computer. here is my old rig with my ghetto mods...
well that is pretty obvious. im talking about already recorded videos. i dont have a good video camera so i just recorded it on my digital camera. the video quality is pretty good but the audio is distorted. we were a bit too loud but i was just wondering if there is a way to reduce the...
not sure if this is in the right section but i recorded some videos of my band playing and the audio is pretty distorted. is there anyway that i can clear up the distortion a bit so the audio is a bit clearer?
