I think you are missing what I am saying. Just take Coax out of the equation altogether. If I run my PS3 --> HDTV using HDMI --> Logitech Z5500, would I lose any sound quality?

Not going to add or purchase any kind of switch. If I have to run a coax audio from my DTV to my z5500, I am fine with that. It sounded good before, so I know it will now. I just wanted to see if I could make it easy.

Shoop....the issue is not resolved as there have been no updates or patches. In fact, I got a response again today from Rockstar that states they are "working hard to find out what is causing the problem" - translated - they have no F'in clue what the problem is.
