So I managed to find in some threads in here that TF2 now supports multicore CPU's. However, most of what I could find on the subject referred to Core 2 Duo chips, not AMD X2's.

Will the dual core support feature (that apparently improves the performance of the game a lot) work on the following hardware?

AMDX2 5600+
4GB DDR2 800mhz
EVGA 8600GTS 512MB
Dell E207WFP 20" Widescreen LCD

Also, if it does, can anyone send the command my way (I assume you type the command in console?)? Also, if anyone has any other commands that I can use to improve my gaming experience in TF2, I would greatly appreicate it!

Does this guide include the dual core support feature and commands?

Still want to know for sure that I can use the dual core command on my AMD chip.

So you enabled the command and it improved your speeds....and didnt freeze or anything.

Again, do you just type this command in console or is it a file you edit?

I have a 5600 Windser and When one core gets up to high usage 96 - 100% I will see core 2 fire up to 10 - 20 % until core 1 calms down.

I have read through the information and until the bugs are worked out have no desire to try it out. I run with everything maxed out and experience no lag or slow downs so I am happy for now.
