I’m hoping someone here is willing to sell without crazy markup.. I’ve been waiting for an order to come through on ShopBLT and it’s gotten pushed back over and over. I need the card for work, so it’s a particularly frustrating situation. If anyone is willing to let one go, I’d massively...
I cannot find one at a reasonable price, used or new. Everything is at least $700, and generally over $1k. I have an order at shopBLT.com but it got pushed back three times now. Is there a huge shortage right now??
I RMA'd a power supply and they mistakenly sent this back. They are now telling me to discard it since they don't care about me shipping it back. What is it? I posted in here because it has SATA ports, but I honestly can't find anything from googling.

I'm using a 1080 GTX GPU, which is connected via HDMI to a receiver, which is connected to my TV.
I'm having two issues which I believe are related to the same thing:
A) TeamViewer shows white windows when I'm remotely logged into the computer - specifically Chrome and BitTorrent Sync. From...
I'm having a lovely issue with my 2015 Macbook Pro Retina which has an ATI M370x GPU. The driver is a special driver that Apple modified somehow, and it doesn't seem to register properly with my system... the CCC menu shows "Pinned" and "Presets" but that it is. I've contacted ATI, they tell me...
I have a dual monitor setup, but I'm confused about something.
If I turn off the second screen (it's a TV so I don't want to keep it on all the time), any window that was left on the second desktop space stays there. Is there any option to make it so if the secondary screen is off, windows...
I've had a weird problem for a few years now that I haven't figured out. Whenever I am writing large files to my drive on my PC (Win8.1), my system will slowdown SO much. Explorer windows are extremely slow, games stutter, Chrome will barely respond.
The strange thing at this point is that I...
I need to replace my Actiontec router. What's a good router that supports DD-WRT, that has high memory? (I don't want the router to freeze up due to high numbers of connections ex. torrents)
Also, DD-WRT has good UPnP, right?
So, I bought an Xbox One+Destiny to play with my brother and a family friend. Turns out they never actually play. Quite literally every other person I know who plays games/Destiny got a PS4.
Pretty bummed. I only got the system maybe a month ago.
Would anyone be interested in trading?
I'm troubleshooting a ton of issues with a few USB3 enclosures. I found two of their SATA chipset models on their manufacturer website.
However,
1) I can't find the last one's SATA chipset on the manufacturer website
and
2) In System Information, one of the enclosures says ASMT1051...
Does anybody have any use for these items? If you want all of them, I'm happy to ship them all together, $60 shipped.

Crucial 2GB PC3-10600 CT2566BA1339 - SOLD

I'll probably add some more PCI-E stuff tomorrow, but for now, I have a SIIG NN-FW0012-S1 FW800 PCI-E card. Selling for $16 shipped.
Heatware is dingobiatch, eBay is mfdingo.
i just got a ML07 case, and I like the textured look of the front panel but I don't like that it's not glossy - I'd like to spraypaint it with a clearcoat plastic spraypaint, but I don't know if I need to sand first... thoughts?
I'm trying to find the right mITX mobo to use for my HTPC build. I'm converting my old system, which has an i7 3770k, so I want to stay LGA1155.
Problem is, it seems like the new mITX boards are LGA1150. I'm really liking the newer boards though... ex. USB3 seems to be more prevalent. I mean, I...
Okay so I have an old cryptocurrency mining machine that I pulled apart, and I was considering putting it back together in a small-ish case. Problem is, I don't know if my system (I took out the GPU) is sufficient for streaming/transcoding. It has an AMD Sempron 145 processor with 2GB PC3-10600...
My buddy and I have played far too much Path of Exile lately, and I'm tempted to switch to an MMORPG, ideally free-to-play. What are the good ones out there now? I googled and saw a lot about Tera and Aion, also Star Wars... are those the top games to check out?
I have two Startech USB3.0 UASP bays hooked to my 2013 Mac Pro. Today I decided to try installing Yosemite on an unused drive I had sitting around. When I went to use Time Machine to backup my current boot drive, I started getting read/write errors.
This is where I'm getting lost: my SMART...
I got an RJ45 cable tester because my home network has been slowing down randomly (I've tried changing the router and connecting one thing at a time to see if anything specific causes it.. no dice).
The house had Cat5 cables put in ~15 years ago I believe (I may be off on that number), and I...
I'm trying to find a 3.5" USB3 enclosure, but I would be using it with a Mac, and everything I've looked at on Amazon has reviews saying USB3 isn't supported on Mac and that it reverts to USB2....
Why would this be?? Ex...
Curious, if I buy a Thunderbolt enclosure, can I power a 3.5" 4TB 7200rpm HDD? I've seen online that Thunderbolt supports 10W, which I would think is plenty.. but I also don't see any drives (well, only one) that states it doesn't need an adapter..
Is there a way to see the last time a file was accessed on Mac?
I'm trying to determine what sample libraries I need to keep on my SSD vs which ones I can move off onto a HDD.
Pretty stoked... I got back into it maybe 4 months ago, but since then I feel like there's a weekly update where a LOT is getting changed. New bases, UI changes, weapons...
Just saying, I'm pretty impressed given how insanely slow updates come for most games.
I was reading about overclocking my 650m in Bootcamp with my MBP Retina 2012, and in the process started metering my clock speeds and noticed they are fluctuating like crazy when I play games.
I tried using Nvidia Inspector and -forcepstate:0,1 and -forcepstate:0,2... things are bugging out...
I love Disk Inventory X... it shows a breakdown of the biggest files throughout your system using a special tree organization.
I'm looking for something similar but that lets you find files that haven't been used in, say, 1 year.
Anything? I can't find much on google.
I just booted up a computer I found in the garage. XP installed, pentium d 3.2ghz, 2gb ram. It is FAR snappier than my 3770k w/ 16gb on windows 8...
Is this a known thing??
I'm currently checking out Transporter as an alternative to Dropbox for backup situations where I can have folders in a special folder (ex. dropbox has the Dropbox folder).
But, that type of solution won't work for part of what I'm backing up - multiple ~2tb drives. Also, these are for Logic...
I've been reading performance reviews of the new OWC ThunderBay, the OWC Elite Pro Dual Thunderbolt, and various other interfaces. I feel like *every* one is significantly slower than native speed. I then read about the FirmTek ThunderTek /PX with SeriTek/Q6G, which adds eSATA ports over...

I'm confused here. They use the Sonnet Tempo PCIe->SATA adapter inside of a Thunderbolt -> PCIe chassis. But, the Sonnet adapter is SATA anyway... wouldn't it be the same as...

Just got my new Mac Pro in, and I'm going to be setting up either a Thunderbolt bay with multiple SSD's, or just individual external enclosures with SSD's.
While I was looking into the differences in speed between...
Is that possible? Say, running two SSD's in RAID0, and a third SSD by itself. Or is it cheaper/smarter to just get a two drive RAID0 enclosure and then a seperate 2.5" enclosure?
My home network is going *nuts* suddenly.
The setup is an Actiontec FIOS router, wired to a few computers, a Netgear switch, and then across the house there's a Airport Extreme in bridged mode.
The internet will suddenly die out of nowhere. Sometimes restarting the router/airport works...
Why are thunderbolt drive bay systems so expensive? I'm migrating to the new Mac Pro, and the obvious problem is getting more storage...
The Pegasus r4 is what I'm looking at - but surely there must be less expensive versions of these things? What about USB 3.0?
I'm just trying to run...
Curious. The "size of all items" setting in Windows is amazing (setting it to, say, 150%, or more). Until you try and use an application that gets completely screwed up by it, or a game that does the same. Every time I try to use the "size of all items" feature again, I remember that things get...
Curious if there are any interesting MMO's around right now? The last one I played was Guild Wars 2.. I don't want a straight WOW clone. I grew up playing UO... I've also loved very strange MMO games, ex. a Tale in the Desert.
Oh, not interested in EVE. I've tried getting into it multiple...
My home network system is being very strange lately.
The setup is: an Actiontec FIOS router, hooked to an 8-port NETGEAR FS108 switch, hooked to an Apple Airport Extreme.
My computers are suddenly losing connection - when I check what's going on, the IP addresses become self assigned...
So, I'm trying to sort out why my layout is doing what it's doing. This is probably my fifth attempt to grasp CSS and I'm apparently just very bad at it. C++, C, Java, C#, Actionscript, Ruby, Python... all come easily. But CSS is impossible - I spend HOURS trying to figure out the smallest...
