Damn, the gateway has a lot better specs ( i5, 5650). Does anyone know what the warranty is like on Gateways? My brother had a desktop from them years ago and from what I remember they were pretty decent.
have it down to two different ASUS's, purchasing from Newegg tomorrow morning. Was wondering what people recommended, leaning towards the 14.1 inch with ATI 4560.

I've been on notebook check looking at some really nice Acers and the Samsung R580 hawk. These laptops aren't offered in the U.S though, does anyone know why?

This should do the trick, for 50$ more you can get this one, but it's out of stock at the moment.

Looks like me and you are checking out similar stuff. I was also looking at the M11x, but am very weary to buy anything from Dell. The Asus looks awesome. I would probably go with the i5 version for only 50$ more and because you can buy it from Newegg, who has (imo) one of the best customer...
Was wondering if anyone knew of a laptop that could play Heroes of Newearth decently (doesn't have to be maxed out just smooth) for around or less than $600. Could go a little higher if there is one for a great deal around $800.
Would prefer 15 or 16 inch but 17 or 13 would be fine as well...
would the pico psu 150W be able to support a quad core with a GTS 250 Low Profile or am I just dreaming?
Looking to build a new system and that would be the perfect case.
Just got back from a trip and my 5 year old desktop is not booting up. Either a shorted electrical problem from water damage or a burnt out processor. Anyways, I have wanted to get a laptop for a while.
Looking for something that can play HoN at decent settings and from a quality company (no...
build one? you know we're in the laptop section right? If there is some way to build my own laptop I would love to, I looked into that a few years back but it was not an option.
Looking to spend around 1k on a laptop, want to play starcraft 2 and Diablo 3. Would the hp with i7 core and 1 gb nvidia 230m be wise or should i go for a core 2 duo with a better gpu? Any reccomendations?
The thinkpad is about $300 more than the gateway, but don't mind paying if it's worth it.
T500 Specs:

2GB PC3-8500 DDR3
ATI MR 3650 256mb
Gateway:
AMD Athlon X2 QL-64 2.1G

Want to play Diablo 3 and SC 2. Don't care if the graphics are maxed out...
I can get a 15.6 inch Lenovo for $600 with a T6500 or T4300 and nvidia G 130m (i believe that's the name).
Is the upgrade to an ATI 3650 worth an extra $150? Want to play SC2 and D3 at medium graphics.
What's everyone's opinion on this?
Also, what is the difference between the T6500...
Newegg claims the s10 only supports up to 1.5gb but someone said they threw in a 2gb stick. Assuming it can take a 2gb ddr2 stick, what should I pop in there?
I am considering all 3 of these laptops at the moment and wanted to know if anyone could tell me which one has the best graphics, I would like to play some WC3 and counter strike 1.6. Plan on upgrading to 2gb ram.
I mostly need it for powerpoint, excel and note taking. I thought the eee would be good because of how small it is. I guess the compaq packs a lot more power but I thought the overall quality of the EEE was better.
Just found out I need a laptop for a class I'm taking next semester. Been looking at the asus eee's thinking of the 4gb model and OC'in/ throwing in a 2gb stick of ram and running XP. Throw in another 8bg of flash and i'm at what like 500$? Does anyone have any better suggestions? I like playing...
My little sister has wanted a laptop for the last 4 years now and my parents are finally caving in and getting one for her, she has saved about 300$ and they are going to pay the rest. I'm looking at getting a dell vostro 1500 for her for $800. Does anyone know of anything better near that price...
since there is no healing class and everyone uses potions like in Diablo, I don't see effective teamwork being all that important, unless you're taking on difficult stuff like questing, but general grinding and treasure hunting should be a cake walk.
Just wondering if anyone was planning on playing hardcore mode when HG:L comes out. Gameplay doesn't appear too difficult so i'm definentaly going to give it a shot.
using the stock intel cooler, did you have to remove any parts, i.e. the fan? I accidently ordered the wrong heat sink for my little brothers SG03 two days ago and was going to order a nt06 or xp-120 but it looks like the temps are good with the stock
WHEN IS HELLGATE COMING OUT FOR GOD SAKES! I wasted YEARS of my life on d2 and have come back to it more than 10 times. Did anyone play HARDCORE? that was the ultimate rush, once I started Hardcore classic ladder I fell in love with the game all over again. Killing someones character...
my roomate used to do it for work, I'm sure it's not too hard. I'm looking to get a new phone as well and my mp3 player is pretty much toast. Looking for something with at least 4gb storage and customizeable ringtones under $400. Reccomendations?
