So I just installed my new 6870.
I have 3 screens attached to it right now.
On the furthest left I have a U2211 connected by display port in portrait mode
In the middle I have a U2211 connected by display port in landscape mode
On the far far right I have a HDTV connected by HDMI in...
So I have a rig with a Core i5 2500k with no video card. I just purchased an AMD 6870.
What is the correct way for me to switch.
Do I need to remove the Intel graphics driver? How do I do that?
I was just looking at the Dell website and it says that the DVI port on the U2211H has HDCP but it does not say the same about the display port. Does this mean that the display port is not HDCP compliant. Can anyone with one of these monitors connected via DP please confirm or Deny this?
Thanks
So after I find the above and decide that a sharpie will fix the problem and after I build my rig and do all of the cable management I find out that my far left (looking at the front of the case) USB 3.0 port/cable does not work.
Redbeard what do you suggest that I do? Can I just have a...
Agree I would like to know the status of this. Is Corsair going to be making a "Upgrade Kit" for the 650D (or 600T) so that the USB 3.0 cables have a header or going to make something like this.
I want to give Corsair more money just let us know that something is in the works and that we...

Finally got the approval form the wife to get a new computer. I am still working with a laptop from 2004.

I am looking for a case for my new build and I have worked with 2 Coolermaster CM690s recently and really liked them but i have been hearing a lot about the Corsair 600T and 650D.
My question is are the Corsair cases really worth the extra $70 or $120?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I just bought a Latitude E5510 from the Dell Outlet.
It has 4Gbs of Ram but is only using a 32-bit version of W7 Business.
At home I have a retail disk for the 64-bit version of W7HP.
Does the W7B Product key work for 64-bit version?
Are W7 all the same and the product key tells the...
i would go with a monitor more like this but i think i am really starting to push your budget for the $500 you had originally hoped for

I recommend do a real monitor then just running the computer duel screen the LCD is probably 720P you really don't want to write a paper on that type of screen
for his needs there is no need for a 6 core processor.
you said that you want this computer to last so using a MB that supports 6 cores is a must but just get the $100 X4 then upgrade to a X6 in the future
I am thinking about getting this for a home file server/media streamer.
I am not sure if I want to run WHS or W7.
Any thoughts or suggestion?
Also someone may what to put this in the deals section because it is a pretty good deal.
Combo deal $300

Are there any limits to how many HDD you can put in a Windows 7 box, or how big a HDD can be.
For example if you had a motherboard with 50 sata ports on can you have all 50 2TB drives show up as one large 100TB drive or have all 50 drives be individually named?
Thanks
