well i have a dvi to vga adapter conencted right now and it works...co it cant be the connection on the graphics card but i quess it could be the cable but i dont have an extra one to try....ill have to go get one

I only have one connected at a time...its just odd how i can use a DVI to VGA adapter from the computer and itll work but straight DVI to DVI wont work....i am using the cables that came with the monitor!

yea i chagned the input on the monitor....are there other settings that i have to change as well?

ok i got it to boot up today and ive been running the test for an hour now....im starting to get extremely bored...how long is memtest suposed to last for? im guessing theres 10 different test?

i must of just burned it as a iso file on a cd how do i burn it as a bootable iso useing windows or what free program can i download to create the cd

i dont have a floppy drive so i downloaded the "Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip)"...then i unziped the folder and copied the "memtest86+-1.65.iso" onto a cd...when i restart the computer reconizes the cd but still boots to windows...i made sure that the cd-rom on the boot up selection...

Well i caved in took apart the whole computer and tested the mobo with all different parts that i know work and the same thing happened. My brother sujested resetting the bios so i did and their was a significant improvment in how long the "Flickers" were but it would not stay on. :confused:
