why not both?. it will not hurt your Origin Library if you use it.. you can play it and have fun.. and also wait for a great sale in the ultimate edition... I've picked the Ultimate Edition in Steam in the last summer sale at 2.74$ (I think but more or less that price
..) it was 90% discount =D.... the good thing about that game its that you can re-play lot of times and never get bored..

You can't really beat free...
The DLC for DA:O is good, but not good enough to warrant spending $30 over free. Grab this, have some fun with it. If you dig it, pick up Ultimate Edition on the cheap during the holiday Steam sale and just pick up where you left off from there.

I already had Origin, so it's not like I was installing it just for this game.

fantastic game, too bad they ruined the series with the second one.

My son and I originally purchased the game on disc's back when it came out, so having this is nice. We both installed it and are playing now. Still a classic. Love the ability to set default actions for companions like when to take health pots and such. Every game with followers should have this ability.../sigh
Wrong. This game is only free if your time is worthless.
