How exact is that 300mm length for the videocard? Can say 308-310mm work? Without removing the the intake fan of course.
DeathPrincess said:This is a photo from when I was doing some planning work for a case mod. This is from the back to the front. You can see the stock case fan thing at about 31cm. But this isn't exactly accurate and its kind of loose, so about 30.5cm would be the maximum i'm guessing with the front fan. Replacing it with a slimmer model, or a different mounting would get the extra space. The 6990 is 305mm and that should just about fit...but it would be tight

raiderj, can you fix your pictures? I'm curious to see what you've got there.
Also for read/write speed testing -- is there a reason you're using bonnie++ to test? E.g., why not the HD Tool (standard in Ubuntu 11.04, I believe; downloadable for other flavors, I think)?
Anyone know whether the H60 will fit in the same way the H50 does at the top? I think it's 2mm thicker. Thanks!
"Fan down" -- is that looking toward CPU? If so, and if you have a "standard" CPU cooler (stock or other that has the fan parallel to the mobo surface) the two will compete for air as normally PSU fan sucks air into the PSU and the CPU fan (normally) pushes air toward mobo ...

anyone know the mm thickness of the side panels? I'm curious how rigidity this case is?
Solution is to turn the CPU fan over and have it blow into PSU, or have PSU facing out.
On that principle would you think its better to turn the top case fan so its blowing cool air onto the cooler then the cooler into the psu?
