What I like best about XFX is that I bought a reconditioned 9800gt back in the day, which was still faulty, and despite the fact I got it off ebay they immediately honored the warranty and replaced it.
I've never had one fail on me, and I LOVE that I can sell it when I'm ready to upgrade granting a full warranty to the person buying it. Talk about much easier to give them some piece of mind!
I have never dealt with XFX in the past, but I hear good things about them. Especially on the warranty side.
The 6990 may be the card I am looking for. I've been searching for a single-card solution that can take on 2560x1600 as if it was 800x480. My GTX480 isn't powerful enough for max at 2560x1600, and neither is the gtx580. I thought the answer lied somewhere with the GTX590, but I was devastated to know it had shortcomings that would not make it a good card to max at 2560x1600.
I believe the dual GPU 6990 will fill my dark 2560x1600 void with creamy goodness!
