NFS Porsche Unleashed > any other NFS
Good I'm not alone on my opinion. That game ruled.
As far as arcade style.. I really Liked NFS 4. After NFS4 and Porsche I stopped buying them. They just seemed like crap.

Jesus those aren't screenshots, they're captures of a pre-rendered video scenes. Lousy. Does anyone know who made Most Wanted? It's really too bad they can't have that same studio make another. I just reinstalled the game and am having a blast with it.

I just reinstalled it too, and while it is fun, the driving doesn't feel realistic at all.
EA Black Box.
Same group that did ProStreet, Carbon, Underground, and Underground 2.
It's not supposed to be realistic. Need For Speed is an arcade racing game franchise, not a simulator franchise.
Ugh.
As soon as you gain any speed, you can't turn (even a little bit) without losing traction.
In Shift? Do you have the game already? I thought it came out tomorrow?
Yes in Shift.
I got the chance to play it early at a retailer friends place. I played a single race and completely lost interest in the game.
Sounds like it's pretty realistic, which I guess you don't like.
I like realistic. I drive.
If I begin turning a corner at 80, I don't immediately lose traction and have to constantly compensate back and forth. It happens even on small adjustments or long turns.
GRID is only fun if you actually have a wheel and pedal.
I disagree, I play GRID everyday with my Logitech controller, it is very fun.
Game looks great. 35-60 FPS with my Q6600 rig @ 1920x1080, 8xAA. I'll likely tone down the AA to obtain a steady 60FPS tomorrow. It's a little late for me to be mucking around, but this settings page for online racing says enough for me.
Private racing FTW.
getting 35 frames on a 4890 wow i guess i can expect less on my 4870 e8400.
Ugh.

I think one of Fanatec's wheels are compatible with all 3 platforms but not even the G25 or G27 is also compatible with the 360 afaik. This is the one, although it's wireless which is kinda iffy. Any peripheral in general is hard to come across that works on all 3 thanks to the proprietary 360.I wonder if the PC version looks significantly better than the console versions.
What's a good steering wheel/pedal set that'll work on Pc, 360, and PS3, since Ill be picking up and Dirt 2 once it comes out.
