Where did you get that desk?
hahaha you are hilarious may I please subscribe to your RSS feed?lol you keep that woofer there to defib you in case emergency right lol
Those are the Swan m10 speakers.
HOWEVER, the placement that ghostchild has is CORRECT. While the sub doesn't play past 100hz much, anything above 70-80hz is directional, which means the system sounds best when the subwoofer is placed directly in front of the user. The system isn't meant to play loud; it's meant to play accurately. The subwoofer isn't a subwoofer in the traditional sense of a big box that gets thrown in the corner and blows the roof off. Think of it as just reinforcing the lower octaves. If you don't have the subwoofer on the desk, it sounds like crap.
IKEA Galant series. I've got it too and love it.Where did you get that desk?
Ghostchild gets a lot of crap for that subwoofer (Like EVERY TIME HE POST HIS DESK), so if he finds you annoying for mentioning it, don't be surprised.
every time he posts his desk... so in other words, basically once a week
You been tracking me? Actually more like every time I have money to spend.
What are the specs on the mini?
nice setup, Yea im debating getting myself a tablet...
hey Prim3, what is that electric pad thing you have called ? And what is it made for photoshop..?
I think it's a graphics tablet - it allows for greater control as well as being more natural to use.
Me thinks that's it...
Sony, Asus & probably several others already sell carbon fibre laptops. Carbon fibre for desktops is just stupid; it's an expensive medium to use & is only used because of it's low weight, which isn't an issue when designing a desktop.its amazing to see how far apple got in designing their computers i <3 the aluminum cases on their laptops and desktops and ACD its gorgeous, but im really waiting for laptops and desktops in Carbon Fiber...

I have it in my guest room now, instead of my sons room. Moved the laptop to the kitchen.

Nice! I meant it.
What do you do with that - is that where you work?
Thanks. No, that's just home for now, but if things work out the way I want it that will be where I work full-time too :-P I do photography (on the side for now, hopefully full-time within the next 2 years or thereabouts) so a lot of heavy Photoshop work, particularly wedding album design. It's overkill, but my 2 year old homebuilt desktop was choking (Athlon 64 X2 3800+, 2GB DDR1) and I was really impressed with Apple/OS X from having the MacBook the last ~1.5 years, so I made the switch switch complete.
I didn't want an iMac and the Mini isn't powerful enough so I was "stuck" with the Pro. I could have configured with just 1 processor and less RAM, but it was ~$1,000 more to get the 2nd processor and 10 more gigs of RAM (assuming you purchase and install the RAM yourself), so I figured might as well because this puppy is going to have to last a LOOOONG time, haha.
Nice! I mean, since that Mac has an 8800GT you can also play games, that's pretty good overall I say!

Yes, but I will have to Sunday evening. My wife is at a women's retreat this weekend, and she took it for photo stuff.
