Nice hat
so, where u work that u get to pick your own components?
doesnt anyone have MAC setups ?
I seem to remember seeing a couple setups where people had a Powerbook on their desk next to a PC. But yeah, the typical Apple demographic and the [H]ard|Forum demographic don't really overlap much. This is a computer enthusiast forum. Macs are not marketed to enthusiasts, are less upgradeable (or in cases where they are, often more expensive to upgrade for the exact same or inferior components) and far more expensive than a comparably set up PC. Macs have far less software available, especially with regard to games, when compared with Windows based PCs. Sure, some people have Macs here, but they are a minority among a minority. You're not going to see many, if any at all. People around here are more likely to rebuild a PC in a Mac G5 tower case because they like the look of the case than use actual Apple components.

Anyone know what kind of desk that is?
That is true, but there is plenty of Mac setups, both in this thread and in the Apple forum. In the Apple forum there are "Post your Mac Setup" type thread; this one is more towards, as you said, the enthusiasts or the actual work station at the office.
Where there's a will, there's a way my friend...Buy longer cables and/or extensions. I myself will spend 4hrs, sometimes more just to get it to look aesthetically pleasing and functional. Less is More in my book...
I have that same desk

Its the office depot onyx black glasstop desk.
The glass is really strong too, it can easily support my pc and my monitor, I used to have a big ass crt on it also.
