edit - I kept trying after they were sold out, and someone must have gotten denied, because it went through. KICK ASS!!!
 
Dang, got the final confirmation and just missed the Braille On Cookies.
 
Misentered my security code on the CC. Now i'm in line for one if someone gets denied....

Fingers crossed.
 
It could be worse. I got to select I want to buy it and confirm my order and now it says i'm in line so i'm basically SOL. That pisses me off.

Just what it is - useless crap.
I got a remote controlled dinosaur that was 2 ft tall once. Some people get wii's and HDTVs, but most folks get crap that would never sell usually. The bag is the nicest thing - I got a SLR camera bag one time that was awesome!

Got denied for 3. Changed it to 2 and and now in line if someone gets their card denied. crossing fingers for barrels of cookies
 
I didn't get 3 because I PANICKED like a crazy mofo.

The best part is that I JUST sat down at my computer...I wasn't even logged on to woot. Saw that the porta DVD player was sold out, hit f5, saw the BOC, woot prompted me to log in, entered my confirmation code, confirmed order, and BAM.

The whole process probably took me ~8 seconds.

I AM SO LUCKY.

even though you "screwed up" and only got 1 boc, you are still pretty damned lucky to get anything.
 
I'm in line also - guy that works for me here at my shop got one though.

I should have gotten 3, but I think that would have slowed me down enough to not allow me to get one...

How is it lucky to completely flush 6 dollars down the drain, even more if you get 3.

Why not just go to your local dollar store and randomly select 3 items while blindfolded?

I doubt if they've sold millions of woots, but the promise of some awesome, high-dollar item is what keeps everyone coming back.

It's a calculated gamble. I got a really nice Targus dSLR bag with mine that was worth way more than the $8 I paid for it. Some people get REALLY nice stuff like a HDTV or a Wii, but most people at least get their money's worth.

I was able to select the item, then went to hit submit and wasl sold out. :(

this logitech thingy loks like its going to be here for a while.....
 
It's all in good fun, no ones making you "do" woot-offs. As for this next item (wireless music junk) it's gonna be a woot killer for a while :(
