This isn't the gotcha that you think it is. That is a 300W card. The only way that card will be melting that connector is if that connector wasn't fully seated.

But that would mean that the 8-pin connector is also prone to damage if the user isn't adequately seating it.

They never really had, reticle sized chip are too expensive, low yield historically to exist before very recently (for the crazy high price datacenter will pay to make sense), they are a very new thing we never had as gaming card, top end moved...

Yup! I got tired of Plex's nonsense. Jellyfin works pretty well and it's more active in terms of updates.

The 5700XT from 2019? The hell it does. If you mean the 9070XT, again, slower is slower. Basically tied isn't the same as tied. Again, 10%'ish in ray tracing still favors the 5070 Ti and its still much faster at path tracing. As for the rest...
