That chart shows about a 20% drop in brightness for about 1/5000 of a second, or about 1/40th of each frame at 120Hz. There's no way that will be visible to anyone, even subconsciously.

I get about 1/60 of a second extra lag when enabling 120Hz BFI. (about 4 extra frames with a 240 FPS phone camera compared to with BFI off, using a keyboard LED as reference) 120 Hz BFI is one of the reasons I held out until this year to buy an OLED.

The 2405FPW is the first and worst LCD I've had. I don't think I could stand it for video use, due to the crushed blacks and colored ghosting. I'd personally rather have a TN. I've used several Dell and other brand IPS monitors, and I'd recommend any of them over the 2405FPW.
