Since they changed something on the board to correct the flaw I didn't know if that would cause me to run into issues?
Newegg just sent me my ASUS P8P27 Pro replacement mobo that has the fixed SATA flaw.
Do I need to format or install any drivers? Can I just swap it out and be good to go?

The stock heatsink is complete trash. I was running 86C after loading Windows 7. It just doesn't fit to the processor very well. Hyper 212 I am running 37C. Stock speeds at the moment.
