Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
there is no such options.
right now I installed Wheezy + Xen, made the video passtrough but after installing the nvidia drivers on the Windows Guest, the video card has a yellow triangle in the manager stating error code 43.
Hey guys,
I recently purchase a video card for my Dell C1100. I am currently running of Ubuntu 14.04.1. I spent 2 days trying to figure out how to get the video card to work. I had to 'update-pciids' to get my video recognizard properly for 'lspci' i installed the nvidia drivers from Nvidia...

Hello
I just purchase some new hardware.
supermicro x10slm
intel e3-1220 3.1ghz
corsair vengeance ddr3 1600
When I boot the whole thing. I says "IPMI initialization" and after a few seconds it hangs to "System initialization 15".
I checked many forums, manual, etc. no one seemed to...
I only picked that board since it had 8 sata and supports the new haswell socket.
How about: Xeon E3-1220V3 Haswell 3.1GHz
SUPERMICRO MBD-X10SLM-F-O
and 2x4gb ram drr3 ecc from a place I can find it cheap. I don't know about ECC RAM price, how much should I pay for the above?
and of course...
I find ECC RAM expensive, unless i am not looking at the right place. If I get M1015, i would need to change my actual cables. I am not sure of the benifit from going xeon/ecc since this is used only to storage, I have another rack for VMs and stuff. Thanks for your inputs :)
Hello guys,
I wanted to get an expansion for my current norco 4220, but I decided to upgrade the hardware instead.
What doesn't change :
Norco 4220
3ware CBL-SFF8087OCR-06M 0.6m Multi-lane Internal SFF-8087 Serial ATA Reverse Breakout Cable
PSU: 850w corsair
New hardware :
CORSAIR...
th @westock2000, I will check for articles about that over the internet.
i have a norco 4020 atm with 14 drives and I don't have such delay/timer device. It boots just fine. The HBA/RAID card actually scan the bus before the OS boots to see the drives. I could also add...
I listed the 4570S but it was not because of the watts, I will go with the haswell i5, but I don't know which yet. 32gb ram seems overkill, it will run debian. Can you tell me why I would benefit from 32gb ram?
for the power supply i guess i will go for Corsair-Enthusiast-Series-Modular-TX850M
