    I have the exact same mobo and I have a P180 case. It's hard to tell the connectors in that second pic, but I placed the FW connector from the front bezel, directly into J1394_1 on the motherboard. Right next to J1394_2. They are little green ports. ;)

    thanks for the tips, I am going to re-install everything back into the case. If the proc. wasn't seated correctly, how long would it take to fry after pushing Power On? Each time I tested it, I didn't leave it on for more than 10 secs.
