    as for you thanks for the grats. and thanks for trying to solve my problem. I beleive my drive is a SATA .. how do i check for sure.. it says ATA on the box... explain to me more on what your telling me to do " moving it to another block of ports?"

    Um acually im not really satisfied with this 2.9 overclock.... my goal is 3.0 and ive seen overclocks on this cpu all the way up to 3.4 so no i cant say well ima pro now that i hit 2.9 in overclocking.     i can run my computer on 264 cpu fsb and that makes it 2.9 Ghz from the stock 2.2.. ok i can set in to 265 in bios and it boots up fine and everything and then i check me cpu speed and its at 2.2?? so i think well mabye it just didnt save or mabye the bios reset somehow.. so i go back into...

    ok i have a amd 64 3700+ at 2.2 and ive overclocked it on water stable to 2.8 and i know i can go farther and i have went all the way to 3.0 stable.... i had it on 3.0 stable ran all the test and everything but then i turned it off one night and turned it back on the next morning and it started...
