ok ive been reading alot of overclocking post and i have a ?. ok if i drop my ram speed from 200 to 166 and increasy my cpus fsb from 200 to 240 making my ram speed back up to 200 but with the cpus at 240. what kind of performance issues will i have because of the ram and cpu speeds not being in sink with each other?

None. (I'm assuming you're on an A64) Myself, and eclipse & robberbarron have tested this extensively. On the A64's, overclocking the ram/running 1:1 makes little to no difference in real world apps; ie games, rendering, encoding, etc. Unless you're into benchmarking and want the most bungholio marks, there's no need to let your ram hold back your cpu overclock. Once you find the max of your cpu and ram, use a divider to keep your highest ram speed as close as you can when oc'ing the cpu.

ok cool. well i set my ram speed back from 200 to 166 and set my fsb to 250. making my overclock on my amd 64 3700+ from a 2.2 to a 2.75. So this is pretty good? and having the ram set back a little wont hurt anything? with my ram set to 166 and my cpu uped to 250 fsb what does that make my ram? my cpu multiplier is 11x if you need to know that....
