Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

BOINC traffic resumed around 12:30 UTC on April 25th, 2026 and cluster is currently stable as of this writing (18:00 UTC on April 29th, 2026) - the issues at the data center was resolved, recovery was successful and the issues...

Thanks,
I just mothballed the rig with the dodgy 10700k, I swapped the RTX4070TiSuper into the one that had the RTX3070. I figure I can run full send for the next month or two before I drop down to a single RTX5070 for the rest of the summer.
Update: after a recent Windows 11 Update which forcibly replaced the 576.88 driver with version 591.86 FAHv7 is working fine. Haven't tried any newer drivers than that but those boxen are primarily folding anyways so no need. Fold on folks
With so few bio/medical projects out there, it is hard to not just set and forget the project. Let it crunch when it has work and then crunch something else when it doesn't. I have a lot of Android devices and have even fewer choices to run on...

muziqaz posted on the FAH support forum the "sweet spot" is 8 cores/16 threads.
Power optimization and number of cores
CPU speed is important since the bonus formula goes up exponentially with increasing speed.
1922x projects - slow performance
Wow that's a great PPD on 18490. I assume that's because the 9950X has quite a bit of single-thread performance compared to 2x32C EPYC which is what I'm running for the bigger PPD numbers. These are fairly low clocked too.
Guess the key takeaway...
There are at least two key things:
- number of atoms, that will determine good or bad scaling on a high count of threads (like 32). Some people will prefer to run 4 resources groups of 8 threads to maximize WU output (not good for PPD)
-...
Had a bunch send this afternoon. Might be fixed now. 1 or 2 boxen crunch WCG and fold at all times but just a few threads to BOINC for power and heat reasons.
WCG is sending me work units again, but nothing has been validating for 2 days. More unintended bunkering. I'm taking advantage of an over-the-night cold snap to fold again.
