Related question: My 6800GT was at like 66 idle in my computer, got a 7800gt and put the 6800 in my moms computer which is a dell with very poor ventalation, it now idls at 72 with the addition of a zalman cooler, havent tested it much in a game environment is that too hot for it to be idleing...
Ok so I have a DFI LP UT nf4 Sli-dr, and the chipset fan died the other day. After looking around I found alot of people replaced the stock fan with an evercool vc-re so I got one and installed it. Now for the problem, anytime I move something on my desktop (icon ect..) I hear aching coming from...

Any how, reinstalled the game tried it with out the patches and it worked fine, installed the patches and it went super fast, tried only the roster patch and it went superfast.

Everything is way too fast. At the click to start i have maybe 2 seconds before it goes into the demos. Menus are fast the baseball that spins on the menus is really fast.
In a game the players run from first to second in the blink of an eye and the ball goes to from the bat to the end...
Yea so I added yet another game to my inventory set up fine, only thing is that it is unplayable. The game plays SUPER fast, nothing ingame to slow it down anything outside I can do to fix it?

Its not a big issue at the moment as i am not overclocking yet but I cant get my computer to boot with only two stick of memory. The only way Ive been able to get it to boot stable is with four sticks (two corsair two pqi)
Any ideas?

So I reacently got a new comp and just went to test my "old" mobo and cpu for potental resale.
The mobo is a elite group 848p-a with a p4 3.2 it started up fine for a second the one of the onboard chips got super hot super fast a mere second it shuts off and the dreaded smell of fried...
Well I started tryin to figure out how to overclock my cpu (3700 san diego), I followed Eclipse's 64 overclock guide and got around 2.6 (on stock hsf, voltage and bad air flow) went to run prime over night on it and when windows loads my video card (6800gt) wasnt showing up look in device...
Well I tried the GW site but that was no help.
I bought GW today go to install it from the 2 cd's that came in the box but they didnt install anything, the game just insists on downloading everyting at insanely slow speeds (1KB/s!) why do I have 2 cd's? and why cant i install from them...
