Yea so I added yet another game to my inventory set up fine, only thing is that it is unplayable. The game plays SUPER fast, nothing ingame to slow it down anything outside I can do to fix it?

specs,
Amd 3700+ San Diego @ Defult
Dfi ut Lanparty Sli
Evga 6800gt (1)
512x2 corsair xms 3200
256x2 pqi turbo
WD 160 gb HDD

Thx Rab

I have MVP2005 and it runs fine. I don't even know what would make something run super fast.

Don't use Rafael Furcal and you will be fine...

Joking, can you elaborate on the problem a bit more. I only have the hang up issue, but that happens seldomly and clears up within 20 seconds between plays.

For some reason, POP2 ran too fast on my laptop, and it was fixed when i disabled fast writes. If that doesnt help, try reinstalling the game.

Everything is way too fast. At the click to start i have maybe 2 seconds before it goes into the demos. Menus are fast the baseball that spins on the menus is really fast.

In a game the players run from first to second in the blink of an eye and the ball goes to from the bat to the end result of the play before the announcer can finish saying he got a hit.

This is with settings maxed at highest res so no cool.

Have you tried patching the game or reinstalling it?

Does this happen in any other game?

Too bad "real" baseball isn't that fast. I might consider watching it again if the games weren't so damn long and slow.

Looks like no patches for me.

Congrats on being an ass.

Thanks.

I have the patches installed and it works fine. I wonder if it is a hardware driver thing. I notice you are running on Nvida. I am running on ATI. I wonder if a new video driver would fix it. Are you up-to-date in that area?

Latest drivers
Vsync was on
Can't remember where the fast write option is, checked all the obvious places.

Fast writes can be disabled in the bios or through drivers, but if you do it through drivers, i think you have to have coolbits installed and change it in the agp settings? not sure, but i do know you have to use coolbits.
