I was wrong. I have an Asus P7P55D-E which is an 1156. I'm not entirely sure what CPU it is because I don't have the box or order history. In my system control panel it says an i7 2.93ghz K875. Perhaps my current rig just needs a fresh wipe and some new ram to wake it up, because it doesn't...
I just picked up a Corsair 750w PSU (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006)
I thought I heard someone mention the other day about a website that will allow you to punch in your system specifications and it will determine how much in total it will draw?
The main purpose of this rig, at the current time, is just plain gaming. I currently play BF4 on low settings and it feels really outdated. I am currently running with a i7 LGA 775 2.93ghz (forgot exactly which cpu), a GTX 550 ti and 6gb ram. I put a last minute order in on Cyber Monday, and...
the 6600 is only at 2.7 now. I just remember when looking in cleaning it its only on air atm, the block is in the loop but i have another 2x120 rad i have yet to throw in to be able to handle that too. So i only have it up to 2.7 due to the summer etc etc. I suppose ill just leave it as is for...
So ive been out of the loop for quite a while..as i've been stuck on my laptop busy with school..I'm just curious how well my desktop is holding up against the top of the line stuff these days. Heres what it is.

Well it seems that the card is shot..It was my buddies machine and his 8600 and my 8800 that he wanted to try..took it to a local shop and they tested it and didn't get anything. I'd test it in my rig but its liquid cooled and i can't seem to move my card far enough to put this one in. Bad...
So i switched from a 8600gt to a 8800gts and also got a new bfg 650 psu..for some reason it wont post. you here like..5 quick beeps but nothing else and nothing on the display. everything has been triple checked to be plugged in..any ideas? Shuold i go in on the 8600 and delete the drivers...
Yeah i was debating between the gigabyte g33 and the f190 suppose i'll probably send it back then..and will probably send back the fan too. The psu is modular..Not sure how much i've spent..kinda just been buying things as i see them as hot deals.
So I decided to build something a bit smaller for my girlfriend to take to lans..and this is what I built. I have all of it but the video card (ordering that next week). What do you think? I am a bit worried about the mobo but i'm hopin for the best.

So i'm getting yes's and no's..Hm. Well I just ordered another 240 and a radbox to see if I can mount it off the back. I was hoping to stay all internal..but i'd like to see it at 4ghz.
dd tdx block..Probably aruodn 75 degrees in my room now but summer will only make it rise..I would like to run at 3.6-4.0 stable. a single 120 would be so much easier to mount considering I already have a 240 internally mounted for my gtx. Oh, and yes it will be in its own loop only for the cpu.
I'm looking for something like this..
The single 120 is going to be mounted in the front of my case and I have lots of hoses/cables in the way that would restrict the airflow if i blew straight down into my case. I know they sell single 120 ducts at performance pc's but i'm not sure how...
