Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
hey thanks so much for the replies........yes the cam has composite connections.........i forgot the screen has different modes.......woohoo, this screen just gets better and better.
thx you 2
i'm not sure and want to go ahead and ask you all as i'm not one to blow things up.
i have a Sony DCR-HC96 mini DV cam and would like to view the footage on this fine screen, but don't want to screw things up......
any help with this will be appreciated.
thx

sorry but i did a search and nothing useful helped here.
my question is this, i have a Linksys wireless card installed (WMP54G) and it installed easily, but i get a lot of searching from the current router we have which is a Belkin F5D7230-4.............the computer i'm using is 30 feet away...
hey thanks, and i think that's what i needed to hear as well............i may be just jumping the gun, and as you say, waiting for the new system a year from now may be the best advice for me.
right now i have 2gigs of Ram installed as Photoshop CS2 is a memory hog.
dollar wise i'm not rich...
after reading here and being helped with pumping up an older puter and learning quite a lot from you all, i've got the bug to build.
what i do most is digital Photography with a Canon 5D and 30D.......i shoot and convert Raw files, so i want to build a puter that will convert with flaming...
having a 7800GS the card obviously doesn't have VIVO, so when installing from the CD that came with the card, do i even bother with installing VIVO...........?
(boy that is a dumb question, but i gotta hear from ya'll)
thx for the replies........what i find unusual is that it will step up to a different speed from where it was (as if i were playing a game) and then it will step back down, all while never going over 39C.
still normal?
1st of all the card works great, does not get hot at all, runs 38-41C* at idle.
when i first turn on the puter, the fans runs at high speed as it always does, then settles down to nothing more than a whisper, but after a couple minutes, it seems to kick up a few revs more and stays...
thx..........i figure i will go ahead and do the removal as it's being used in a mid tower.
if it goes before i build the new machine i'll just buy a new one.......
