    thx for the replies........what i find unusual is that it will step up to a different speed from where it was (as if i were playing a game) and then it will step back down, all while never going over 39C. still normal?

    1st of all the card works great, does not get hot at all, runs 38-41C* at idle. when i first turn on the puter, the fans runs at high speed as it always does, then settles down to nothing more than a whisper, but after a couple minutes, it seems to kick up a few revs more and stays...
