stupid question about VIVO

having a 7800GS the card obviously doesn't have VIVO, so when installing from the CD that came with the card, do i even bother with installing VIVO...........?

(boy that is a dumb question, but i gotta hear from ya'll) :confused:
 
you call that a stupid question, heres a stupider one

my new vid card has it and im not sure waht it is, google isnt helping me that much on infos :(
 
You dont know? VIVO = Video In/ Video out = Video inputs (such as PS2, GCN, Xbox) and video outputs (TV, projector) Kinda like a TV card w/out the tuner. Just the composite (and components outputs) input and outputs along w/ s-video.

summerwind, no, you wouldnt install it if your card doesnt come with it. so you dont install the WDM drivers.

actually vivo is pretty cool. You can run your tv cable from it and tivo shows to your hard drive. Used it for some time that way.
