    Can this be fixed?

    So, something has been causing my PC to not power up properly, it switches on and off repeatedly until reset the CMOS manually. After rebuilding my system it turns out my video card is the source of the problem, has this happened to anyone else and can anything be done to remedy it?

    Ok, so after my PSU died and killed the mobo and CPU; I'm replacing them with exactly the same parts. Will I have to re-install windows or will it work straight off. Also, because I got an OEM version of windows vista will I have to get the liccense re activated?

    I'm not sure, my cpu isn't warming up at all, I can run it without the heatsink fitted and it don't heat up, (I only did this for about two seconds). Well I'm RMAing both so either way the problem shall be solved soon enough :D

    Ok, so I'm thinking it killed the cpu as the mobo is getting power and however the cpu is not, I know this because unplugging the auxhillary cpu power lead doesnt change anything, i still get the same problem. I'll RMA the cpu, see how that goes...

    Sadly I don't know any one with a mobo I can test on, I don't know anyone else who's into computer hardware, and yes, I jumped the previous PSU, It didn't work. Maybe it broke and took something else with it?
